I will vote for ..... futurist female candidate ...nine is a lucky number, but cannot see their faces clearly ..... vote by random ..... they are wearing a nice uniform skirt ..... Anyone want to run for the governor post? Raising your hand?

Voting doesn't matter--it's how much you give to whomever gets in.

Japan pays a decent salary and other benefits ... I guess, but double-check with Gov Shintaro Ishihara .... maybe - lifetime allowance ...

"Nice idea but are they old enough to vote?"

And do any of them know who the candidates are?

@koriyamaboy: Mariko Shinoda(the girl with the short hair in the front row) is 25 or at least will be soon

I know nothing about these girls although that looks like Sae Miyazawa standing next to Shinoda.

Does this inspire anyone to vote ? Perhaps a poll could be taken of the poster itself ..

Great, but it became a tangue twisting after repeating it 10 times. Try it!

At the voting day, you may choose only one candidate, no more than one ... DPJ may recruit all 13 AKB48 members after the election day ends "Revitalizing Japan" ...

In this order K, Y, H and T. Those are my choices.

alphawolf, how about Y.K.K.

each candidate should draw lot and have one member of the AKB48 to give them an identifiable " pretty public " face.

If the candidate is not happy with the face he/she drew, then they can " trade " with other candidates ( sort of like the trade in carbon emmission credits ).

This, i believe, would give the public better idea as to who or what they are voting for................

omg nobody cares about these girls why is this picture of the day?

Anyone else notice the subliminal double-echi?

"Anata to tokyo no tame ni"...ok, it sounds convincing!!!

Usually, seniors reminds juniors to do something. "Anato to tokyo no tameni" is spoken by junior kawaii members, easily convincing Tokyoites to vote vote vote for Tokyo's benefits and everyone's benefits. If each political candidate can use one of this young lady as his or her PR member, that person needs to pay a fee to her agent company. If Tokyoites don't care about 13 AKB48 members, that means they never look at this poster at 38 locations in Tokyo. But passersby will look at this poster and go to vote because they know they can have a chance to see both ... the candidate of Tokyo governor and one of 13 AKB48 members ....

Don't read with your mind, then enjoy other features of JT as much as your imaginary power ...

We should have the same in Canada when it comes to various votes, but doubt if lovely faces like that would be showen. So best to all of you in Japan.
