Nothing like standing in a rowboat and hooking a big one. But, I'm sure they'd only be carp, not a sturgeon or salmon. That would make for an interesting 'oops'.

Very cute! The age range of the three, makes it look a like a 'fun for all ages' activity. Could easily be grandad, father and son.

You know anyone who fishes for carp standing on a boat? Looks to me like they're casting for bass with that weed growth. Largemouths are everywhere in Japan, except for Hokkaido. World record is out of Lake Biwa.

@TrevorPeaceToday: The world record carp weighed over 112lbs. Carp are extremely strong which is why they are used as banners on boy's day. I would prefer to be seated if I hooked a behemoth like that.
