I didn't say it WAS autumn transitioning into winter, I said it obviously evoked that feeling in someone. And since art is subjective, you can't say they were wrong.

Sunset in Autumn, end of day and falling golden leaves, sad thoughts and melancholy.

I sincerely hope that is not a road, but a wide path. She's risking her life if vehicles are allowed on that narrow ribbon of pavement.

I agree with your take on it Brit, definitely showing colder weather, and that means which season... QED.

More of a cycle, footpath, atop a river embankment, maybe the Tama River? For me, evokes coming darker, colder days. The clothes she is wearing, the (unnecessary) jacket for the dog, the long angled shadows in sepia light.

We agree @Strangerland 11:04am that “Art’ is subjective’, as are ‘opinions’. But the photo above is so dark and blurry, it could be from ANY time of the year.

Yes. Which makes this comment:
...simply your opinion, as it obviously evokes the feeling of ‘autumn transitioning into winter’ for someone.

This photo does not evoke ‘autumn transitioning into winter’. - Curious as to what other users may ‘take away’ as the intended ‘theme’ of this image? After all, isn’t ‘Art’ a subjective experience ??

it just looks like a path through a park.....

Looks like one of those intentionally twisty roads in residential or shopping areas that are meant to slow down drivers.
