A life-size figure of U.S. President Barack Obama from Madame Tussauds Tokyo in Odaiba was taken to Tsukiji Aozora Sandaime Honten for a photo shoot to mark in honor of the president's visit to Japan last week to attend the G-7 summit in Ise-Shima, Mie Prefecture. At right is Saburo Sato, the restaurant's real sushi chef.

Is it approved? Does Obama have image rights? Just asking. I mean, there are some pretty dodgy images of him in Obama town. And what's to stop this waxworks being used in inappropriate ways and then photographed. Who knows, maybe he doesn't even like sushi. He was said to have left most of it when he had it with Abe some time back. Might be apocryphal though.
