Oh perfect! Now those who are pro-whaling and anti-Korean - and they often seem to be the same people - can have one neatly-packaged object of derision.

judging from the (lack of) protesters, this is not a huge issue for most SKs. perhaps another gov't led "protest."

Buy one grievance, get one free.

I think, that SK consumed (secretly though) whale meet.
I suppose they are "conveniently forgetting" some stuff in here too
Meiyouwenti
I thought SK was a whaling country too.

@Meiyouwenti
If it hurts Japan... it seems, they can overview that little detail.

I like (not) the way some animals are so special, and others, you can eat all you want and slaughter them in droves.
And just because they are protesting Japanese whaling today, don't assume they won't be protesting South Korean whaling tomorrow.
These things always start with awareness. And sometimes its the awareness of one individual that starts it all.

I'm sure this is just a small group of radical Japan-haters, not reflecting the population at large, but there is some humor in Koreans expressing concern for what we think are "animal rights".........

Well done guys

unfortunately yes whale is also eaten to a lesser extent in korea (possibly somewhat owing to Japanese influence during colonization)

More 'opinions' on your part, Daniel? So, if they're 'secretly consuming whale meat', how on earth do you know about it?
hokkaidoguy
LOL.
Google South Korea, whaling and bycatch. Plenty of whale meat for sale in South Korea.

Japan, please leave the Whales alone to live in peace. The Dolphins too!

They get bonus points for being creative AND funny.

World should really know whaling and endangering animals in our oceans are going to lead to serious environmental demise which you might not care now but one that your children and their kids will have to pay dearly for.
Peeping_Tom
Maybe South Koreans should leave the poor dogs alone?!
Anyone who eats dogs should have no say on somebody else eating anything!!
Louis Amsel
look at these dog eaters, why are koreans always so stupid?
kurisupisu
I don't know about that-I've meet some dogs I have wanted to eat but never a whale.....

Eleven South Korean environmentalists abuse balloons in Seoul. This must be part of that "global" outrage I've heard so much about. SAVE THE BALLOONS!
And why are only nine of them wearing masks?
funkymofo
Japan was also handed a letter condemning this years 'scientific' hunt co-signed by 33 nations including USA.
arrestpaul
Signed by whom, and when? The legislatures? The Emperor/President/King/Queen/Prime Minister/Ruling Junta?
