If only I didn't have to go to Tokyo to find a Burger King in Japan.

Looks a bit too much to eat for me:

eeeewwwww!

Agreed, I wish they had A Burger King in Hokkaido.. I don't think that I could finish one though..

791 grams of beef, I could probably eat. It'd be more difficult if there was cheese on each patty, but people have done it before. The Heart Attack Grill has 2 pound cheeseburgers that people completely eat.

Seriously this is going to kill someone.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

OMG, you should eat only 2 pieces of beef at the most...or even three , but 7 is just absolutely outrageous.

Take it home and make seven hamburgers.

only 30 people a day can get one. still...look, 'american' size buns. eat enough of these and you'll have american size buns too.

Amazing!

"eat enough of these and you'll have american size buns too."

Yeah, you never see any fat Japanese people do you.....let's get rid of the stereotypes on DenDon

stereotype? open your eyes. yeah I see fat Japanese but it's definately less than 10%. 2008 stats show 80% of americans are overweight, 30% medically obese. advertising 'american size buns' is not a particularly good idea. and no, I am not overweight.

Natural News is writing:

Eating a 7-layer burger in one setting just might give customers their own "blue screen of death" gastronomical event requiring a complete digestive reboot. You might need 7 anti-diarrhea pills and 7 days of rest just to recover.

Even if your stomach can handle the Whopper 7, there's a larger question of whether the planet can: The factory production of beef requires enormous quantities of fresh water. According to the Water Education Foundation, a quarter-pound hamburger requires roughly 1,300 gallons of fresh water to produce (by the time you factor in all the water the cows drink, the water for the crops fed to cows, etc.).

This Windows 7 Whopper might be estimated at five times larger than a typical quarter pounder. Thus, if you do the math, this 7-layered Whopper could be using 7,000 gallons of water to produce (give or take, depending on the size of the patties). In a world running out of fresh water supplies (fossil water), that's a huge quantity to plow through in one meal.

And this doesn't even take into account the CO2 emissions from the transportation and production of the beef, nor the climate-harming effects of the methane produced from all the cow farts (cows fart 7 times each hour, I've been told). In all, the environmental destruction caused by the fast food hamburger industry is at least 7 times worse than what burger munchers might have ever suspected.

One can only imagine what deranged thoughts must have been bouncing around the heads of these Japanese Microsoft marketing executives. Perhaps for the launch of Windows 8, they'll team up with death row inmates and have "Windows 8 sponsors 8 days of capital punishment featuring 8 murderers who each raped and killed 8 people!"

So what the advertising is saying is that Windows 7 will be as big, unwieldy and useless as a Whopper with 7 beef patties? Is that the image they really want to give their new operating system?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

This will be as popular as Windows 7. Who in their right mind would even attempt such a load of artery clogging carbos? Windows 7 deadly sins!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I lose appetite just looking at that pile of greasy gunk.

Maybe its a suitable metaphor for Windows though... that seems to be what they are saying.

Have it your way!

"Windows 7"

I bet a bunch of people buy this.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

sarge: It's selling in China for less than ¥500 yen, I'm told, and has been for a little while. Anyway, I wouldn't buy it for another year or so, after all the initial bugs have been given the usual requisite 100 patches and Norton updates, all the security holes are plugged, and until they decide to scrap it and advise you to keep XP while they work on yet another blunder. I hear this completely copies the 2007 iTouch.

Anyway, Windows has and always will be inferior to Apple products, as much as they copy them.

As for the burger... sick. I DO wish they had a Burger King in my area, though.

Why not just put a whole grilled cow on a bun?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

If you watch the link above the burger is disgusting. The guy brings it up to his mouth and grease starts pouring off the burger. It's just nasty.

@DenDon

Actually only the first 30 people per day can get it for 777YEN.... after this its 1450YEN for everyone else... full poster here:

Unlike previous MS OS's win7 has been out in public beta for sometime prior to release... a lot more stable then previous OS releases which didnt get the same amount of public testing win7 has already gone through. I've been using the Beta since March and its been solid throughout.

-So if Takeru Kobayashi gets in line first and eats the first 30 Win7 burgers you will need to pay almost 2x for yours.

I thought WinVista was beta tested before release. -Some may say what is Windows Vista? -You are dumb! -Nobody uses that. I want the Win7 vaccine first before the virus.

"The burger consists of seven stacked beef patties for 777 yen."

And consuming this monstrosity of meat will raise your cholesterol to 777, your triglycerides to the same, and leave you feeling like you need to have seven bowel movements.

just had a fever before, now I want to vomit.

Their comment that this is "American Size" is such a racist thing to say! I have never seen such gross food in my life. 3 yes, 7 no. Just like the eating competitions. Yes we have a few, but nothing compared to what the Japanese shove how their mouths. It shouldn't read "American Size" it should read "Japanese stupid opinion of what American size is." Lack of knowledge in a stereotype country. What are the stereotypes of Japanese. Shall we mention them here?

Where's the beef?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Why not just put a whole grilled cow on a bun?

Apparently they did! Did you SEE that picture!! lol

I love meat, don't often eat red meat so when I do, I really enjoy it. But this pic is just disgusting...makes me want to become a vegetarian.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

it's too bad !

0 ( +0 / -0 )

the burger is equally as detrimental to your health as installing windows 7 will be

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Oh dear god!! Who could eat this?!?!?!?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Hi, I'd like the 777 whopper with the extra large lipitor to go please

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The first 30 customers get it for 777 yens...better make it breakfast!

The only question is whether to get it at the Oimachi, Shinjuku or Ikebukuro BK.

NOMNOMNOM

I was in the Akihabara BK on Sunday at 3pm and well after they had sold out the first 30, about half the people in the store were trying their hands at it. Saw more than a few finish it completely. Of course because of the demand, they told us the wait on regular burgers was 40 minutes! (Whopper JRs were available right away.) So much for fast food...
