The people have spoken, luckily it wasn't the Communist favorite who won it.

"We're not an old boys club! Look....we got this lady to stand here next to us....we're inclusive!"

That's probably as much energy they'll muster going forward.

since j-wives threatened their husbands with no sex if the guy was elected I guess birthrates will drop even more. Thanks Tokyo!

It's hard to say, "the people have spoken" when 70% if the Tokyo population couldn't be bothered to vote.

No sex for all!

Who is that woman and what is she doing there? She seems to be being held at gunpoint...

Shouldn't a retirement age of 65 be introduced for politicians? Sick of seeing old men make the same stupid decisions.

Congrats Mazusoe-san! Best choice among the candidates and a very sympathetic person!

Tokyo going three for three in morons, Ishihara, Inose, and now Masuzoe. Great job folks, although I gotta admit only 30% turn out really doesn't say much about Masuzoe's support.

More women voted for Masuzoe than men. 55% vs 50%.
