If you lived in Tokyo anytime within the past 10 years, chances are good that you probably had a reasonably priced, Western-style lunch while meeting with friends or business associates at Suji’s Restaurant in Roppongi.
Well, the cozy restaurant closed five years ago, and since then, its namesake/owner, Suji Park, has moved on to Nebraska and now, to Seattle. With help from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (UNL), Suji has since developed her own line of more than 15 different packaged Korean food products, both frozen and chilled, which she currently distributes to giant retail outlets such as Walmart, Costco and many others.
Ms Park, or Suji, as she prefers to be called, shares her amazing success story and her dynamic plans for the future and continued growth in this interview conducted via Facebook Messenger from her recently opened, and extremely popular and successful Korean restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska.
