In this edition we’re talking with one of Japan’s most well-known opera singers, John Ken Nuzzo, who made his debut back in 1991 performing with Tony Bennett and Shirley Jones as a member of the Californians.
Since then, he has won numerous awards and performed in concert and opera houses in cities around the world. Most recently he released a new album titled "Italian Aria," and performed in the charity concert for victims of the Kumamoto earthquake.
Later this month and all the through October he will embark on a concert tour that will take him to various concert halls around Japan. You'll hear much more about this very talented singer in this interview. And, before we finish, we will get Mr Nuzzo to give you a few samples of his operatic style and his powerful voice.
