When folk get to this level in society, they understand that we, the plebs, exist solely to provide them with position and power.
We exist to work and pay tax.
These 500 are at the top of the tree.
Its a very small club.... and we ain’t in it.

China and Japan share a long history and some of the same values. Everyone with a bit of brain knows that if Japan wasn't still in the American sphere of influence, these two Countries would be already allied, and both of them would move on about WWII stuff. Having good relationships is in their interests.
Japan needs the huge Chinese market, and China needs to learn further know-how from Japanese technology, especially in some areas.

Plenty of ignorant comments. All pm/presidents bring top execs on such trips (especially to China) hoping to sign big contracts.
Nothing to do with 'helping' communist China lol!
Tokyo TT
This is where Japan trumps Trump. #checkmate

Plus, another "fun fact": while Japanese-Chinese relationships improve, South Korea continues on a daily basis to complain about the same old stuff (comfort women, Japanese flag and so on). Shouldn't South Korea, as an American ally, try to improve its relationship with Japan? I love geopolitics, but sometimes it gives me a headache...even if I have my theories also about this.

It might be interesting if China holds out on their agreements with the US for little longer but then capitulate with a watered down version. Meanwhile China and the rest of Asia (Japan included) are doing some serious trading.
Almost unthinkable but could the US ever become isolated?

Funny how even a small altering of policy changes the look of China and Japan’s relationship too.
Now that we need each other to make a buck, we realise we can’t afford to not be civil.

JPs only alliance defaulting, there would be only money.

You can see how every time bilateral relationships between China and Japan are improving, a bunch of users complain saying very childish things. Are you serious, guys? Please, explain your American president that if he doesn't want this kind of things, he must treat his "allies" better.

Wonder how many Vetenary University's China needs?

I believe that Japan can and will do well in the future trading with it's close neighbours, although on a world scale, Japan will continue to decline.

Do the hustle
I can understand Abe going to China, but I can’t understand why 500 of his cronies have to go as well. Are they not able to use the internet and have conference calls like the rest of the modern world? I’m also curious to know if these cronies are paying their own way or if they being sponsored with public funds.

Think twice PM Abe. Helping Communist PRC is a mistake as that they can never be trusted. Please avoid harming the Japan-US alliance and also Trump's trust in Japan.

That photo just sent shivers up my spine. Good luck going to bed with the CCP. Don’t say that you weren’t warned.

Eastasia best in class for business and as there are no more ideological struggles left so lets rule the world.

This level of visiting should happen every year. The tradition can be traced back at least 2000 years ago. Memory doesn't fade in our culture. As long as Japanese people, Chinese people and Korean people happy and united, we don't care others. Let them envy and whine.
