We want access to the Silk Road. China wants America to stop threatening them and North Korea just wants to be left alone.

Although China continues to officially state that they seek denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, we have yet to seem them take serious action to back this up.

Hopefully this actually leads to something on China’s part, although I doubt anything will come from it until the US starts to threaten indirect sanctions on China for dealing with NK.

China has two roles to play: one is to make sure that there will be no wars on North east Asia, another is to make sure that NK will peacefully denuclearize without exploding it. All parties, including Abe's party, should appreciate and support China's roles. One sided pressure is very unlikely to work. Bilateral talk is the only way forward. Honest Abe should tell the truth honestly. It is time for Japan to put money on the table.
