The Government of China has been given every opportunity to exert pressure on the North Korean Government to pull back from a program of that will lead to war and has failed. So the US Government must take military action.

China has explicitly said on air, that it has no interests nor is it a Chinese matter for them to get that involved. The US yet does not press Russia as it supplies arms to NK.

The only option for humanity to see its own demise is through the aftermath of appeasement to a dictatorship hell bent on obtaining the means to deliver it's suicidal political tendency to create global Armageddon.

The time is now many lives will be lost. Lessons will be learnt.

Is WWIII about to start? Or is it just me?

The Government of China is a playing a game that is reliant on Presidents Trumps administration actions of political ineptitude to take or make the big decisions.

That is dumb meets dumber. And foolishly, dangerously under estimates military strength of United States, it's air force, army, navy, financials and how that equates to global firepower, worst of all who actually controls the final outcome. Trump is an estate agent, that got lucky for want of a better descriptor.

The real ultimate decision making authority could have already assessed acceptable losses. Look!! no US Government that is senate/congress will countenance a threat of this magnitude. On US Towns and Cities?

Abe, Trump discuss N Korean threat

Donald: So, Shinzo, do ya think we should invade North Korea?

Shinzo: Yep!

Donald: OK. Let's DO it! Do ya think the South will take a-la-da casualties?

Shinzo: Who cares.

Donald: So wha-da-we-gonna-do right after we win?

Shinzo: Why, set a Central Bank of course!

What many Americans don't realise is the IMMENSE destruction that US forces carried out in North Korea between 1950 and 1953:

“After destroying North Korea’s 78 cities and thousands of her villages, and killing countless numbers of her civilians, [General] LeMay remarked, “Over a period of three years or so we killed off – what – twenty percent of the population.” It is now believed that the population north of the imposed 38th Parallel lost nearly a third its population of 8 – 9 million people during the 37-month long “hot” war, 1950 – 1953, perhaps an unprecedented percentage of mortality suffered by one nation due to the belligerance of another.”

During The Second World War the United Kingdom lost 0.94% of its population, France lost 1.35%, China lost 1.89% and the US lost 0.32%. During the Korean war, North Korea lost close to 30% of its population - THIRTY PERCENT!

If the US doesn't change its ways, retaliation will come - NOT only from NK, but from the countries it destroyed in the Middle East.

When is America going to realize that threats will get it nowhere. The only way forward is through dialog. Why on Earth it thinks that North Korea will give up its nuclear deterrent while it retains its own, I have no idea.

I pity the poor interpreters who had to work that gig...

Trump should think about the war.Its not in the benefit of America.

Trumps is all mouth...Just words...Trump will not risk all out nuclear confrontion...The NK punk probably knows this...The Chinese i'm sure are aware ...So, just empty threats..

People also don't realise that the US and its allies used chemical and biological weapons against North Korea.

Some people don't realise that Japan made a great profit from the Korean War.....

There IS no action to take...

Trump has never discussed anything in his life.

Because to discuss there has to be a back and forth and he's incapable of hearing what others are saying while he's babbling on, creating new words, giving long pauses between words, listening to his own voice, and admiring himself.

So...what's the argument? North Korea lost 30% of it's population to US lead UN forces in a war that THEY started. So that gives them the right to nuke the United States after 66 years of no open hostilities? China absolutely supports North Korea's nuclear program and has no intent on helping the U.S. So yes, Trump is right, we should impose the crazy tariffs he was talking on imposing on China during the campaign. Of course Trump doesn't have the brains or testicular fortitude to do it, and China knows it.

Q. Has NK openly and officially declared War upon any Nation other than the continuing disagreement with SK ?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The US will go to War with NK, that now, sadly is a certainty.

If they choose to go Nuclear, then the question is, who else will be effected ?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Not much point in such discussions is there. trumpy will be gone shortly or whatever is decided trumpy will change its mind., then fire Abe san as being a difficult Prime Minister.

mmwkdwToday 05:37 am JSTQ. Has NK openly and officially declared War upon any Nation other than the continuing disagreement with SK ?

As you are aware, there exists only an Armistice Agreement between the military forces involved in the Korean War. So the state of war continues to exist with a cease-fire agreement in place. North Korea has stated 6 times since 1994 that it will not abide by the Armistice.
