Shuffle Abe out please

Just musical chairs - their replacements probably won't be much better; two old-time politicians who are owed some favours for support in the past, and will also be prone to 'foot-in-mouth' disease.

Schopenhauer - I may as well just cut and paste my previous reply to a comment you made regarding Abe trying to make Japan a normal country. Here it is.

that would be a reasonable argument if its leaders were normal. With the Abe's alleged close involvement in Moritomo Gakuen, his circle of unpleasant friends, and the very large number of his cabinet and party in Nippon Kaigi, an organisation that wants Japan to return to its prewar values, it's all too clear what kind of country he wants Japan to become.*

Leaning to more rightists in the next cabinet

Can the other ministers replace him?

Agreed. The defense minister is really an offensive minister and the justice department is really an injustice department.

By replacing, some, and keeping a none  LDP  in cabinet, Abe may be rescuing LDP.   He will be PM for a couple more years.  Until someone grows to replace him, Japanese people will depend on him.

Hey abe, how about one of your snap elections to prove your ""mandate"" eh!!!

Article 9. Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes. In order to accomplish the aim of the preceding paragraph, land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential, will never be maintained. The right of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.

Schopenhauer,

IF let me repeat IF you know WHY article 9 was put in place in the FIRST PLACE, then you would know why under abe Japan trying to become a ""normal"" country is a VERY VERY BAD IDEA.

So the question is do you know WHY article 9 was put in place after WWII??

Should be simple to answer.......

Even N Korea is threat to USA, I don't think Abe will try to propose changing constitution.   Self defense clause provisions of  article 9  is enough yet.  Russia and China were excluding Japan for N Korea talk but after meeting with Abe, suddenly Japan became an important country.  Abe probably could assure Japan is really different than Japan was when Japan Russia War and two Japan China Wars.

Can we defend our country from possible invasions by foreign countries with the constitution under-mentioned? Abe is only trying to make Japan a normal country changing the too much idealistic constitution to more realistic one.
