Quote Taro Aso

"We won't do an FTA to deal with the issue. We agreed we are going to discuss how we should rectify the U.S. trade deficit with Japan through our economic dialogue. There are various ways so we will consider how to proceed."

Well said Mr. Aso,

You can start by dismantling all hidden trade barriers, that inhibit, restrict and drive up the cost of American products entering Japan. Punishing Trump with higher taxes on imported US beef is not in the best interest of Japan.

Australian beef is exempt from higher taxes, due to the signing of a free trade agreement with Japan, U.S. beef becomes less competitive. All Trump is asking for is a fair playing field with a one on one trade agreement such as Australia has.

Mr. Aso, let's be fair about this. Please keep in mind our President Donald Trump is not a career politician, he is a most successful businessman and knows the art of the deal.
