Three democratic and freedom-loving nations in solidarity, standing up against a totalitarian, Communist dictatorship that steals land, antagonizes its neighbours and despises freedom.

"As I said before, any attack on Philippine aircraft, vessels or armed forces in the South China Sea would invoke our mutual defense treaty.”

China wouldn't dare attack Japan or the Philippines. Doing so is tantamount to attack on the US - and would sign the CCPs death sentence. Just try it, Xi.

Then the free countries can station ships at the Second Thomas Shoal to keep the pirates out!!!

Question for Trump people:

What would Trump do? Or what will he do if he becomes president?

I wonder where is all this "Support" going to come from if something happens?

The USA isn't able to produce enough ammunition for it's Support in Ukraine, now it is putting its nose into Israel and Iran problems also promising"support" and if things go wrong around here or the Philippines promises of support!

With what? As it is if called upon to supply or send support to all the hot spots it "pledged" support to, the USA would be spread thin like a sheet of saran wrap!

Fun fact: not all munitions are the same and the list of F-35s and aircraft carriers sent to Ukraine is pretty short. The US military gets the job done, unlike Russian conscripts struggling to retake Robotyne.

Defense promises can be a strain on your economy and many American taxpayers may feel averse to such cooperation. However this is a good step for the larger purpose

You need to stop reading Ukrainian and USA propaganda and take a look at a map!

And read some better news sources, even the USA military has said Russian conscripts are not in Ukraine, this was made very clear only professional military and trained volunteers!

This is what I mean by propaganda.

The USA is pledging support here there and everywhere without anything to actually back it all up if it all goes wrong.

Even the USA own military over 10 years ago pointed out China's latest surface to ship missiles make any aircraft carrier within reach useless!

Some people swallow the hype if the "more advanced" technology right down.

Ukraine has shown the problems, even Ukrainian soldiers prefer old Soviet tanks because the western ones need far too much technical maintenance this includes the planes and cannons.

They are fine fighting the Taliban but not in a prolonged full-scale war.

This idea that the Chinese military is some sort of backwards, Ill-Equipped low quality armament force is just western propaganda.

We 3 not talking north Korea, we are talking China.

You need to stop reading your authoritarian fan fiction.

And read some better news sources, even the USA military has said Russian conscripts are not in Ukraine, this was made very clear only professional military and trained volunteers!

Oh, right, just doing exercises. That's a lot of dead conscripts in exercises.

The USA is pledging support here there and everywhere without anything to actually back it all up if it all goes wrong.

The US has the same commitments it had 20 years ago, with the possible addition of the Philippines. We can afford to send a littoral combat ship to keep the Second Thomas Shoal supplied.

Even the USA own military over 10 years ago pointed out China's latest surface to ship missiles make any aircraft carrier within reach useless!

Someone doesn't know what long range anti-ship missiles can do to the PLN and make no mistake the PLN is the primary component in any conflict with the US.

Some people swallow the hype if the "more advanced" technology right down.

Some people swallow the dictatorship propaganda alright.

Ukraine has shown the problems, even Ukrainian soldiers prefer old Soviet tanks because the western ones need far too much technical maintenance this includes the planes and cannons.

Yes, that tends to be the case when you aren't trained on the western gear and it isn't supplied to you with everything it needs. Says nothing about the quality of western gear. What says your rag-tag conscript army is a joke is that it can't take a major city and can't achieve air superiority.

They are fine fighting the Taliban but not in a prolonged full-scale war.

The US doesn't need to wage a prolonged full-scale war. The US could zero out the conscripts in Ukraine in about 48 hours.

This idea that the Chinese military is some sort of backwards, Ill-Equipped low quality armament force is just western propaganda.

We 3 not talking north Korea, we are talking China.

You'll notice I never said that. It's indisputable that they haven't been to war in 45 years, though.

Remember a year ago, the USA leaders and military said it would take Russia 10 years to replace and rebuild its military after all the losses.

But just this month the USA announced that Russia has not only replaced all its losses but is now bigger and getting bigger and surpassing what it had before the war!

This is the problem with propaganda, those creating it often ending up believing their own propaganda!

China has the manpower the industry the knowhow to increase everything from infantry to missiles at a rate the USA cannot, especially if the USA is involved in Israel, Ukraine at the same time!

All this silly bravado is only pushing us towards ww3 and the eventual destruction of all of us!

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Christopher Cavoli, commander of U.S. European Command, and NATO’s supreme allied commander on the continent, wrote that “Russia is reconstituting that force far faster than our initial estimates suggested,” with the result that its military is now 15 percent larger than it was when it launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Whether this is true or not is not determined, but there are indications it may well be accurate.

Remember a year ago, the USA leaders and military said it would take Russia 10 years to replace and rebuild its military after all the losses.

Could very well. How long it is going to take to replace all of those destroyed tanks and get the artillery tubes into a shape where they could give NATO more than five seconds of pause?

This is the problem with propaganda, those creating it often ending up believing their own propaganda!

Yep, and that describes you!

China has the manpower the industry the knowhow to increase everything from infantry to missiles at a rate the USA cannot, especially if the USA is involved in Israel, Ukraine at the same time!

We'll see if China designs anything of value in the way of technology. I'll continue to bet that a police state can't do it. Meanwhile, zero US troops in Israel or Ukraine and zero equipment that is essential for East Asia.

All this silly bravado is only pushing us towards ww3 and the eventual destruction of all of us!

I'm not the one that started out shouting that the Philippines and US should just surrender to the dictatorship brigade.

Biden said as he began three-way talks at the White House with Kishida and Marcos. "As I said before, any attack on Philippine aircraft, vessels or armed forces in the South China Sea would invoke our mutual defense treaty.”

How bout territory?

in Eastern region, the only true friend for them is America. The rules of order will be maintained by the Alliance, and then the Axis of Evil : chicom, NK, and Russia will be kept in order. Nobody can move an inch with the America and its Alliance presence. Only the true democracy power can prevail in the end!

“Ironclad” is the new word Biden learned recently that he can’t stop using.

Biden also used the "ironclad" remark in defending Israel against Iran.

Trump will do whatever Putin tells him to do. That’s what Manchurian candidates do.

Biden shouldn't make claims he can't back, and other countries know it. After seeing what's happening with Ukraine it's clear the US will be unable or unwilling (hobotora).

And South Korea

At their joint press conference on Wednesday, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and U.S. President Joe Biden did not miss the opportunity to remind us that their countries’ alliance of 70 years is “ironclad.”

“No one should violate China’s territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests...," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said Thursday.

And literally no-one is. It is China that is violating everyone else's.

The UNCLOS ruling was crystal clear: China is wrong; the Philippines is right.

Please provide a source for this supposed "announcement," with link. It sounds highly dubious to me.

(And, no - RT doesn't count.)

Biden can and will back the claims if he is returned to the white house, though. This is literally a trump failure you are highlighting.

why is the USA paying to defend the entire world? We have our own problems that require our tax money.

We have our own problems that require our tax money.

And there is enough money to take care of our domestic problems without sacrificing our national security. 2% of US government revenues is not going to bankrupt us.
