Previous prime minister also had promised to make the fight against COVID-19 his "top priority".

But, he increased Covid19 victim to over 10 times.

Oh, yes. Kishida will have the challenge of how to completely ignore the existential threats of ecological collapse and climate heating and get on with the usual business of using public money and policies to support the nuclear, war, auto, plastics, and construction industries.

But, he increased Covid19 victim to over 10 times.

10 times what? Outside Africa, the only countries (populations exceeding 34 million) with fewer COVID deaths per million than Japan are China, South Korea, and Pakistan — if the numbers can be deemed credible.

Comparing numbers from Japan with any other country is like comparing apples and oranges. Japan never does COVID autopsies and PCR tests are limited. Don't know why you would use such fake numbers to compare with other countries.

Transition to renewables seems to be a policy passed down from many prime ministers ago, so do they have no clue at all on how to tackle it?

That’s why my comment included the disclaimer “if the numbers can be deemed credible.” Some countries may over-count, some may under-count. But we work with the data we have.

And ill-prepared for all of them!

Seems like his top priorities keep changing while we're still waiting for kishida to unveil his overall master plan and how he hopes to achieve what he's already promised

One more important issue that has faced Mr. Kishida is how to response to Ms. Akagi's suspect and many people's doubt about the involvement of some of cabinet members then.

After all the nonsense this government created and caused, I'm still a bit shocked people voted them in again.

which involves vast government spending, massive monetary easing and cutting red tape.

Incorrect. The strategy was to only talk about cutting red tape.

Bold actions were only to be spoken of, not actually taken.

It fooled some of us for a time.

What would We all do without governments telling us what to do whilst they DON’T do as they say?
