Ishiba denies LDP covertly backing scandal-hit members in election

Very stinky behaviour from a very stinky party. If the stinky "scandal-hit" (almost sounding as if it were some kind of accident) members get back in, how long will it be before the LDP graciously re-admits them. Come on, it is stink after stink with this party. I well remember the Recruit scandal that 'hit' them. It was clear bribery and venality and this has continued for decades.

What a childish excuse, we gave money to the branch not the individual. But that individual is working for that branch so directly making use of that money, isn't he? The branches should kick them out and hand them a lifetime blacklist before they should be eligible to get money from the LDP. So easy to solve problems but as usual the people in charge are afraid to step on people's toes
