discuss security, seafood ban

Still discussing and trying to sell sea food from tainted Fukushia water to China?

Totally a nothing-burger! Kishida and LDP should go away for good. Unfortunately, Soka Gakkai and Unification Church will ensure the LDP stays in power forever.

The amount of pro-Japan trolls on the Internet is a flex of power from those cultists.

If the situation were reversed would the Japanese be eager to consume seafood from China with an added dose of radiation?

I think not…

The amount of pro-Japan trolls on the Internet is a flex of power from those cultists.

They barely exist. Whereas the amount of pro-China trolls all over the internet parroting CCP propaganda daily is nauseating. SOP, accuse others of what you are doing.

Talking with the CCP is a waste of time!!

It's like talking to a brick wall.

When have we ever heard the CCP government apologize to a foreign government for wrongdoing?

They don't even apologize or admit responsibility to their own people for some of their own policies. Take their ridiculous Zero-Covid Policy as a prime example!!

Wang saying "Respect each other's legitimate concerns"

What a joke!! The CCP never respects anyone but themselves.

The seafood exports van was nothing nothing and absolutely nothing to do with politics. It is a health issue because the radioactivity of those poison is hazardous to public health. Japan just cares her own export revenue, this is the Japanese science ! Selfish enough!

They're just as useless at communicating as each other.

You just mean expel the US first. Might as well be honest about it.

Talks with China are essentially pointless. All Japan will get from the CCP is the same old lies, threats, and empty promises. As I've said before, it's a waste of diplomats' time, and our taxes, and both of these resources should be directed to areas where they will actually make a difference.

I assume you mean "ban" not "van," but either way your post is wrong. It's 100% politics for the CCP, and 0% public health. The IAEA has stated that the release as planned "would have a negligible radiological impact on people and the environment..."

https://www.iaea.org/sites/default/files/iaea_comprehensive_alps_report.pdf

Based on its comprehensive assessment, the IAEA has concluded that the approach and activities to the discharge of ALPS treated water taken by Japan are consistent with relevant international safety standards. Furthermore, the IAEA notes the controlled, gradual discharges of the treated water to the sea, as currently planned and assessed by TEPCO, would have a negligible radiological impact on people and the environment.

And all releases so far have gone according to plan:

Plus, China has refused to participate in an international monitoring framework, so clearly isn't interested in resolving the situation:

Exactly. Xi has screwed China's economy so badly that they likely can't survive without that 50 cents a post.
