Hayashi will lecture China about denouncing the Ukraine crisis ?

What's the point in that ?

Everyone knows China and Russia are strong allies.

China will want to discuss why Japan is having meetings in Taiwan and preparing for war.

Every country, big or small, should use every opportunity to make the CCP owns all their mistakes, publicly.

Never, not in a lifetime, that I could have imagined the president of USA could be humiliated by the CCP like during the recent Xi / Biden talks (I'm referring to backing down on Pelosi visiting Taiwan, or at least not proudly shouting from the roof top that China does not dictate US foreign policy).

As of the time of your post, I don't see any reference on the net to the Pelosi Taiwan trip being cancelled.

Perhaps you can provide a link to support this? Or are you just spreading false information?

jpn side should be part of peaceful solution of problem in Ukraine and not a US tool at UA side!

...also during the talk Biden told Xi he understood, and that if Pelosi go, it's as a private citizen.

Taiwan doesn't care about private citizen, it wants and needs official American support. Pelosi should go as planned, as a Whitehouse rep. This should be made clear to Xi, else Xi is directing US foreign policy.

China, Japan and South Korea should all three be constantly engaged in dialog, negotiations and compromise. It's a pretty kick ass part of the world economically, culturally and with historic ties.

Congress is a co-equal branch of the US government with Pelosi as its leader. If Pelosi goes she is not representing the WH.

That is a far cry fron claiming that Pelosi has cancelled her visit to Taiwan. You really should not be spreading such misinformation.

Whether she goes officially or as a "private citizen" is simply a label. As all of the J-bashers here who consider all private visits by J-lawmakers to Yasukuni are representative of "Japan" will attest.

A total waste of time. Japan should begin a massive arms build up. Then we can talk.

Japan, China to hold in-person foreign ministerial talks:

Such spurious and fruitless talks have taken place a number of times.

Talking to someone insincere who only takes instruction from foreign superiors is like talking to a stone, no point at all..

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

I don't see why Wang Yi would waste his time with a chancer like Hayashi.

Maybe he likes hearing people play the piano badly.

-17 ( +4 / -21 )

This will be a waste of time as the insincere Chinese can not be trusted.

Any dialog is better than no dialog at all.

Peter your just blinded by your hate of China ..but you still can't get the facts straight about Taiwan and China

Diaoyu is Chinese territory, no arguments there.

I have no hate for China, only for the CCP and single party system run by a cadre of old men who believe they know better than everyone else in China, what is best for everyone in China and beyond its borders.

I have straight facts about Taiwan and China. I do not buy into the CCP version of facts.

These talks may be worthwhile if contained to fighting climate change. Autocrats do not agree with democratic nations on peoples rights, a nations rights and many many other things. Jinping Xi is incapable of compromise that does not see him win out in the end.

Kyo wa heiwa dayo ne you may well be blinded by your distrust of the west or too much trust in Jinping. Either way your balance is off and your arguments are therefor skewed always in China's favor.

Yeah right, that is why there are Japanese flags on SENKAKU ISLAND. And soon, Japanese troops on Taiwan and perhaps in Beijing as well.

The Pinnacle Islands aka Senkakus have never been "Chinese" and never will be. Even Chinese(PRC) maps in the 1960s showed them to be Japanese territory. The islands are protected by both Japan and US under Article 5 of the US-JPN Mutual Defense Treaty. China simply needs to get over it.

China simply needs to get over it.

As do you and Japan. Your hatred for China is painful to see. Embarrassing even
