Pompeo, with direct access to US CDC, is likely more informed with facts about this virus than any of us normal folks.

I support Abe on Korean issues. Be firm with Koreans and never compromise or they will ask for more and more money. Unless Koreans crawl back and beg for mercy, Japan should really consider severing the diplomatic ties with Korea. Doing away with Visa exemption is a good first step. Most nationals need Visa to enter Japan. Why give the privilege to Korea?

Jan is not a west nation, as simple as that.

There are a lot of talks about the new coronavirus - how to get around. But, there is no talks about what hospitals and doctors can do if we become sick. There is no established therapies by now.

Zombie,that laughable from a man, that claim he knows nothing about his Ukrainian Ambassador being targeted by others, the CDC share their info with the public, their latest advisory is avoid China ,and the Coronavirus is here for near future, and their is no vaccine, to stop it spreads

Finally, something that all can agree on-restrictions on the movement of Chinese across borders.

If only the Thai diplomat had even there!

Thank you Yrral for your information. They die of pneumonia. I am now watching NHK TV Sunday Discussion. They are discussing the coronavirus. Four authorities are attending including Katsunobu Kato, the minister of Health and Welfare. Nobody is wearing a mask and Kato is caughing often.

Nope wrong, speak for yourself as I can speak for myself. Pompeo does not have any more or less information than what has not been posted already or one can conduct their in-depth research.

“Westlessness”? I mean I knew that the west was declining and influence things to rise of China, and Asian general. But wow, to go so far as to use that term? Especially in a western nation no less?

Wow, times sure have changed since I was a kid in the 90s. I mean I love it, but seriously, wow!

Virus or not, I'd definitely wash me hands. No knowing what disease lurks in the swamp.

I'm really delighted to know that you will never have any influence on public affairs. The world is crazy enough already!

@rgcivilian1

Happy to say that I can agree with you about that, at least.

Glad to see these three are talking in person. If you count the number of friends each country has the score is really lopsided. If you narrow it down to the neighborhood it gets extremely lopsided. Japan, has good relations with most nations. The US has fewer and it has been dropping during the 'current' administration. And, Korea has the least. In the neighborhood Korea comes in last again with about 1-1/2 friends. Why is that?

Scientists have been warning us for many years that we are potentially in danger of a pandemic from a new virus. They are now in a race to see if they can contain the spread of the disease while they work on a vaccine.

As for Pompeo, he will go down in history as complicit in Trump's Ukraine and Kurd scandals. It is impossible to have faith in someone who has demonstrated such lack of principle and judgment.

You're confusing Pompeo with Biden.
