US-NATO circus are filling Ukraine with weapons and debt for a lost cause, can't Iran give Russia a few drones??..

Dear Japan, That "western lapdog" performance doesn't suit you, don't forget that Iran has a lot of oil that you don't have, play your cards at your own convenience not at the convenience of US-NATO circus..

Will they also be gathering information on NATO weapons being supplied to the Zelensky regime?

Or US and UK personnel in Ukraine?

"We are currently engaged in information collection and analysis”, so you are waiting to see what everyone else does then decide, nothing like an independent decision?

Hayashi said Japan will closely monitor future developments related to the issue, ie I don’t know what to say so let’s monitor this until I’m told what to say. Nobody told me being a politician involved decisions.

Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who made the first visit to Iran as Japan's leader. Yep let’s not forget him, his visit started………global peace?, what exactly? Where else did he visit as Japans leader? Need a list.

Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who made the first visit to Iran as Japan's leader in 41 years in June 2019, once sought to serve as a mediator between its longtime ally Washington and Tehran.

His 2019 visit to project Japanese influence coincided with an attack on a Japanese ship, the visit was clearly a failure which left some commentators stating that Abe had “egg on his face”

The Toyota Hilux is the vehicle of choice of IS, Al Qaeda and the Taliban. It never failed to amaze me to see long convoys of brand new looking Hilux trucks with big black IS banners and guns mounted in the beds entering Syrian and Iraqi towns.

Iran has been and will always be a terrorist state, the people of Iran have suffered so much and I hope that the the world will promote and support a regime change.

How about researching NATO drones and missiles targeting civilians in Parts of Russia? I guess it’s not news.

-11 ( +14 / -25 )

This is the key of why Japan will consider, request and urge, while actually doing nothing about it,

Tokyo and Tehran have built friendly relations over the years, with resource-poor Japan nurturing bilateral ties largely due to its heavy reliance on oil sourced from the Middle East..

It's not news because it's not happening. Ukraine forces are using their drones against Russian military targets.

"We are currently engaged in information collection and analysis”,

A euphemism for frantic hand-wringing.

The only thing remarkable about thee drones is the price. In almost all cases it costs the Evil 3~5 times more to intercept them than it costs to make them.

Apart from Evil losing in Ukraine another bonus is no war in the Persian Gulf anytime soon. Evil's ships and command infrastructure within 1000km of Iran will be annihilated.

Does anyone have any idea what happened to the offensive in the direction of Kherson? Last I heard Evil had 100s of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles smashing through the thin string of the Russian defense. Then all news on it ceased. Has Kherson city been captured? What happened to all those tanks we tax payers so generously paid for?

Iran is the war that the US State Department has always wanted. It's winnable and valuable. Ukraine is a fruitless distraction by comparison. This looks like the first sign of a pivot, like they did from Afghanistan to Iraq.

@Rodney : Exactly what parts of 'Russia' have been targeted by NATO supplied drones? If you are talking about areas 'annexed' by Putin then your point is irrelevant, as these areas are in Ukraine as far as the international community is concerned. Taking out Russian troops on sovereign Ukrainian soil seems perfectly fine to me as a form of defence.

Belgorod, Kursk and Crimea. They are no match for the Russian air defense but that doesn't mean they aren't trying.

These Drones brought the Saudis to the table, because they could not defend them over their oil facility

@Sven: False Flags, as you well know.

You want Iran to increase the dead in Ukraine at Russian hands? These drones used to attack power stations so elderly and children freeze during winter. Sending materials to an invader intent on conquering Ukraine. You think it is a good idea for that to happen? Would it be a good idea if Russia was invading your home too?

Will they also be gathering information on NATO weapons being supplied to the Zelensky regime?

Such information is published online and kept up to date for each weapon donated or sold to Ukraine since Feb 24.

Unlike Russia, Ukraine strategy is always military to blunt Russian abilities to be successful in its invasion. It does not waste ordinance on civilian targets which would also galvanize Russian public opinion against Ukraine, which for the most part it is against the invasion.

Iranian troops ‘directly engaged on the ground’ in Crimea supporting Russia, White House says

This is a game changer. Russian allies are supplying troops. Putin declared that a red line which he has now crossed. There's talk of North Koreans' joining also. If the Belarusians mobilize, that is something that can't be ignored. How does this not involve UN peacekeepers? The movement of armed forces into this conflict is a clear escalation.

@tokyoliv don't forget that Iran has a lot of oil that you don't have,

There you have it, one more reason for the civilized world to find alternatives to burning so much oil and gas. The more that is burned, the richer the ruling elite in warmongering countries like Iran, Russia and elsewhere become, while the rest of the people around the world have to live with the pollution that results from burning so much and with wars fought over oil and gas.

So let me understand this. The Saudis, who hate Iran, are supporting Russia with their oil production cut back to drive prices up to hurt the Democrats who support Ukraine while the Iranians (remember them, the ones the Saudis hate) are supporting Russia. Meanwhile the Republicans are talking about cutting support for Ukraine because ... they love Iran??? Did I miss something???

As if Iran are going to label their drones so they are traceable. And even if they did mark them, how convenient that the marked part survives the hit.

I suggest you all go back and re-watch Wag the Dog! A lot of that going on at the moment, it seems.
