I think I saw one of them in a park near my house today walking their dog.

I think North Korea declared dead are dead. What would be the reason they have to hide if some of them are alive?

The globe trotting Abe had the same goal too; he managed to avoid a trip to North Korea in his long tenure.

I am betting that Suga will be all talk too...,

The government better collaborate with top Youtubers in the channel management.

Sadly a fake issue way past its sell by date created cynically by Abe to draw votes to the LDP. The families have suffered from two crimes, first the kidnappings and second the horrid exploitation of their situation by Abe and the LDP.

A youtube channel? Are they high up there in Tokyo?

I will wait for the youtube channel by the LDP of the 670.000 Koreans kidnapped by Imperial Japan during the Korea occupation to work as slaves basically in Japan. Should come out soon .. . .

Suga has lost it.

Precisely who is supposed to tune in to this channel?

It’s almost impossible to solve those puzzles. Rocket-crazy Fatty is too young and doesn’t know anything and his mummy-like generals are much too old to remember and soon dead anyway.

From my point of view North Korean govt. is only thinking about recompense for the abductees and it means money. Last time when some abductees were back to Japan Koizumi former PM promised to get them back in the period of time paying some money but didn't and NK govt. were very disapoointed former Koizumi govt. These day Abe and this Suga is trying again kind of "slogan" to have them back. I think it won't be working anywhere tahn spending more money without proof most of the abductees are not alive and dead bones didn't proof it was real to the abductees. In other aspect NK will pronounce the thousands of Koreans who were victims of ww2 and it will be same as SK strategy, money after money, it's endless. Just to say that there are100 times more of South Koreans there other countries, too. This is another one way news only from Japan and western countries but doesn't reach NK govt. It's unfair from both sides.

Please provide a young professional "New Face" Japanese female government official to deliver this message with a contemporary modern voice. Have both video versions available on the government channel. Also allow comments.

Thank you.

Isn't it too late for this kind of stuff? Japanese govt should've done this when YouTube first appeared in the digital world.

North Korea committed a despicable crime. Their government lies all the time. They have almost no credibility when they make statements on anything. I give the Japanese government credit for never giving up.

Hard to 'give up' when they haven't really done anything to begin with. Talk, talk, say they're going to pressure NK without actually doing so, ignore the issue until the next issue upon which time the LDP trots out the families for another press conference where the PM or some other muckety-muck will promise to do their best, rinse, press, and repeat.

That's not giving up... it's never starting to begin with.

Those who controlled the coastline, controlled the trafficking. Japan has yet to recognize this terrorist group as only a criminal enterprise. Nobody walks on water...
