Iran is Japan's 3rd largest oil supplier

This would seem to contradict your claim:

Wow!! He's off again. It would be interesting if someone had the actual figures of how much time he has been in Japan since he was elected. And never forget, it is not just him going, but his huge entourage and dubious hangers on, carrying their clipboards. Then there is the cost of the flight and then its carbon foot print.

Kishida has to engage with oil producing nations as fossil fuels are what Japan continues to need.

As he also takes two large gas guzzling jets around the globe, on his PM duties, a large proportion of Japan’s fuel bill is just for him and his entourage.0

Kamikawa is very bold taking on the position of foreign minister considering she executed 16 people, including 13 Aum. We might have another LDP assassination on our hands.

@Taiwan is Not China Iran is Japan's 3rd largest oil supplier. In the past Japan was exempted from sanctions by the U.S. but under Trump those exemptions had been lifted. With Trump gone it's back to business with Iran.

Let's hope Kishida is able to learn his speech and not read it (written in Katakana) like Abe's speech in the U.S. Congress.

"I will convey Japan's unique concepts, such as human security and human-centered international cooperation" to other countries, Kishida said, adding that he will seek to carry through the achievements of the Group of Seven summit in May in Hiroshima, which he hosted.

Well, he should start by reminding everyone what exactly those achievements were, if he ( or indeed anyone) can remember them.

The guy's bordering on delusional, but hey-ho, another big global summit meeting, and he'll be there for sure.

The "achievements" of the G7 summit -- I may be a bit dense, but what exactly were those? Condemning nuclear weapons while rejecting the test ban treaty because you may need to use nukes against North Korea?

Kishida A380 has collected his laundry and he's off again on yet another jaunt.

I still don't understand why there is so much Japanese - Iranian dialog: is the plan to start buying oil with no restrictions? I think Japan would rapidly find itself at odds with the US and Europe.

"Human security and human-centered international cooperation" -- who came up with this stuff? What a load of bollocks.

Mr Irrelevant, this guy cannot rule over an compliance and obedience people, like in Japan, how in the hell can he tell a chaotic world what too ,lots of leaders, would dream ruling over Japanese people that are docile

These UN speeches are a complete waste of time. No-one will remember anything Kishida-kun says. He would be better off singing a karaoke version of Imagine: "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us and the world will be as one".

"I will convey Japan's unique concepts, such as human security and human-centered international cooperation"

Japan is uniquely able to conceptualize the importance of security for humans and how international cooperation should be centered on humans, not any of those other species.

One thing the LDPand their reps are very qualified at is vague generalities and cliche generation to avoid actually returning benefits and results to the electorate.
