Throughout this entire pandemic, I have never seen a single case proven of somebody catching covid from hand contact. Has anyone?
Ive never heard of a single case in Australia and yet we continue with this new ritual.
Why?

Kishida will start by doing absolutely the same as is the norm now.

Great picture, wish I could be buds with these two

Yes, and what makes this even sillier when it comes to Japanese politicians is that before the pandemic they probably weren't shaking hands anyways, so no need to adopt this new ritual. What's wrong with the traditional bow?

I see a picture. I see two people looking as if they are trying to push each other out of the way.
Don't Japanese greet each other with a bow? Not some code arm or finger movements?
This is not the South Bronx.
One reason why Covid is so low is because of the lack of touching, hugging, kissing, and spreading germs physically.
I could be wrong. They might be comparing watches.

That's good. That is a very good thing. Koike needs to follow his leadership and get it done.

A picture of the current and next Japanese PMs!

""I would like to continue working with the central government to protect lives and health."
CONTINUE? How about START to? Tell it to Shimura Ken, who died while Koike was saying the virus was no big deal and the Olympics must go ahead.

Koike has done sweet fanny adams.

Such a kabuki show.
There are more holes in the narrative than on a submarine with screen doors ... a polyester mask protecting you from an aerosolized virus? Still crowded commuter trains but 4 to a group restrictions in pubs? 'Anti-vaxxer' or 'case' of sickness redefined? A PCR 'testing' what it can't? Medical treatments more dangerous than the disease? FDA approval of a treatment not yet on the market? Vaccine passports going ahead despite the science, not because of it?
''Guilty until proven innocent, sick until proven healthy.''
It is just by coincidence this mantra of the Great Reset further empowers the surveillance state and enriches monopolies. Yeah. Pure chance. Anything else would be a conspiracy theory.

Politicians just riding the low numbers now

If the vaccine works so well and they are both vaccinated, what's with the mask and forearm bump?
You'd think they'd want to show everyone how all of that is not necessary now that they are double vax'd !

Kushida has been in politics since 1993 so where are his accomplishments?
He attempted to push through a three hundred thousand yen payment to households during the pandemic but he failed completely!
The US and the UK have fully supported their populations but Japan has not.
The consequence has been a sharp rise in the suicide rate.
Kishida has been given a chance yet still is an LDP member-fancy that....

Kishida says he'll work closely with Koike in tackling virus
Why? Are there no other governors in Japan?

I don't like Koikei's policies but she would have been a better prime minister. The woman speaks fluent Arabic and English for god's sake! The Japanese are horrible at English at best and this woman not only speaks English but also Arabic.
Happy Day
Why not ask some of the other countries how to tackle the virus?
Japan seems addicted to vaccines and restrictions.

Asuming the worst case scenario ?
I will believe that when i see it.
Preparation for worst case scenarios has historically been a dramatic failure for Japan.
There's still time to change.
Let's see what actually happens.

Where countries do you have in mind?
