@LTDM: These bitter pathetic comments about foreign PM's/Government officials really are childish. We all know what the entry restrictions are and we all know that she won't be subjected to them.

As one of the world's biggest pushers of the carbon-neutral narrative, can't this professional hypocrite forego the plane ride and do her business by Zoom?

Nah, it was never about that. Rules for thee...

she's Prime Minister of a country.

Perhaps when your a leader of a county then you can relate.

I see no justifiable reason to disrespect her .

Japan aims to deepen bilateral political, economic and security cooperation with New Zealand under their "strategic cooperative partnership" based on universal values such as democracy, the rule of law and human rights, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said Tuesday.

What a friggin Joke. Japan does not have values such as democracy, the rule of law and human rights.

I'm so tired of them saying they uphold those universal values when they in fact DON'T.

Waste of more tax payers money when these world leaders can just discuss everything through video conferencing these days!

Do everyone a favor and convince the Kiwi's to get a fixed wing combat capability.

Maybe Japan can convince them to join the domestic fighter program and buy planes from Japan.

The conflict in Ukraine shows the need for air combat capability to fight off invaders, or even to just keep the skies contested.

Who does New Zealand need to fight off in the skies, Papa New Guinea? Australia? Antarctica?

You never know who will invade you until AFTER it begins and by then it is too late.

But since NZ is in the western alliance then it would face whoever fights the west.

There seem to be more than a few with aspirations to do that. So it is better to be ready.

I can’t think of one reason any country invade New Zealand. What would they be after, wool?

Well if someone with the naval capacity to just get there, chose to take that country for its own then it could quickly go from being New Zealand to New Xiland. Why make it too easy for them?
