Japan and SK have much in common, and many common interests.

Are you being sarcastic ?
I guess if totally despising each other is a common interest then you are correct

For a moment I thought S. Korea and Japan were working together on trying to figure out how to get rid of Yoon.
I should really get some sleep.

Yeah right ?
Regular meetings ?
What every 3 years ?

They will fall out over who will lead the Asia NATO.
Septim Dynasty
The upcoming war in Taiwan will see China blockading the straight of Taiwan. Both countries will collapse economically after a few months. There will be no Asian NATO once China acquires Taiwan.

South Korea and Japan must work together in preparation of China's invasion of Taiwan. That includes the economic fallout and sanctions that will ensue. The militaries of both nations must conduct joint exercises to increase interoperability. Pres Yoon has a huge task ahead of him after the monumental damage his predecesor caused to SK/JPN relations but it appears that he is determined to set SK on the best course for it's benefit and security.

Only China, North Korea and Russia want Japan and South Korea to stay at odds with each other as it is in their interest to interfere with a strong partnership between Japan and South Korea.
The above post clearly indicates which side the poster supports, and it is not Japan or South Korea.
The people do not totally despise each other. Some politicians may, but they can not stop the inevitable coming together out of mutual need to face off against common threats in the region.
The simple solution is for Australia to be the regional lead of an Asian-Pacific NATO. (sarcasm).
Chinese trade will be unable to leave the are without being sunk, but considering that many if not most of its large trading partners will be at war against China, there will be no trade between them in any case. The Chinese economy will suffer more than anyone else's and it has a long way to fall.

That is true. No matter what kind of Anti-Japan campaigns go on, they cannot erase long and deeply rooted customs from their once-Japan days.

Dead wrong. It is not that the ball is in SK court but that the game was all over. Nothing pending as far as Japan is concerned, those are all SK domestic issues period.
