Japanese politicians are mistaken if they believe the ROKAF fighters will fire 360 bullets at Japanese warplanes instead of locking on and launching Sidewinder missiles if Japanese SDF pulled a stunt similar to the Russian warplane over the Liancourt Rocks.

In one ear and out the other!

So in other words, South Korea is upset that Japan has included actual facts in their report.

Another day, more Japan-bashing from the little angry neighbor. Takeshima IS inalienable Japanese territory. SK should just accept it and move on. Are they going to boycott Tokyo 2020 over this?

In the news today: a dog barked, the sun rose, and Korea complained about Japan.

Japan should just adopt the PRC approach / response:

"This is an internal matter and an internal document involving Japanese domestic affairs and Korea has no right to comment or interfere in these matters."

Who cares if Japan labels them Takeshima, honestly -- it doesn't matter because they cannot get anywhere near them, nor will they ever be able to, because they are South Korean lived-on and administered, plain and simple, and they therefore belong to South Korea, who has also had claims to it LONG before the US decided to give it to Japan after the war to extend their colony powers and be a step closer to the "Red Menace".

The spat between Korea and Japan at this point reminds me of the differences between Catholics and Protestants in Ireland. Historically, they have had many reasons for conflicts, but today their conflicts seem to be the result of habit, rather than anything resembling rationality.

@tanker - 56 years since a Japanese has been able to set foot on what it claims as its territory. If Shinzo-kun himself dared to lay a toenail on it, he's be lucky to be thrown in jail if not shot dead by the SK military on sight.

How's that for an actual fact? Can anyone deny it?

What if this, what if that... it's pure outlandish speculation. Like a Chiuhauha barking.

@Hill - Japan can squirm like a worm for eternity but no Japanese will ever set foot there.

I'm not sure why SK even bothers. Let Japan bark like a senile dog for the rest of time while SK occupies its territory.

Thye know very well their current state as a nation relies way too much on cooperation with Japan as care giver.

@Hill - You spelt USA wrong..

Interestingly if you substitute Japan for SK and USA for Japan in your claim it holds true. That's why Japan is always kept on a short lease by its master state the US of A.

A dog keeps biting it's own tail.

Let SK circle around and Japan be the same, watch the fun even though it's already now a boring show.

It would much easier to take this case on judgement.
