This says it all Abe and his aides, unchallenged and arrogant after more than four years in office Its just the sheer arrogance of the leadership, the conspiracy bill, the school in Osaka and this latest expose about Abe's involvement with granting favors to old friends. But whenever a group or politician from opposing factions call for in investigation or the summoning of people to the diet to testify, the LDP as ruling party deny them the right. Problem here in Japan is there isn't any investigative journalism, and now they passed in a undemocratic way the conspiracy bill, investigative journalism isn't likely in the forceable future. To gain trust and respect , you have to give it, and ABE and the LDP show neither toward the people of Japan.

Koike is still an LDP member. A vote for "Tokyo Residents First" is a vote for the Koike faction of the LDP. The Abe faction may lose seats at the expense of the Koike faction, but the total number of LDP seats will remain the same, or even increase.
