there no country that has done more to Sri lanka than Japan and that is a fact. And that goes for most of Sout East Asia, it is a real shame that Japan has been taking a back seat in Asian geopolitics.

About almost of all Japanese families have kami-dana for shinto praying and butsu-dan for Buddhism praying. So, even Mrs. Abe was raised in going to Christian school in Tokyo, she is very knowledgeable in Buddhism. Every country she accompany her husband, she knows religeous culture of countries. Her English is excellent, too. After her husband resigned PM for his illness. in /2011, He majored Comparative System Network at Rikkyo and got Masters degree to prepare to be house wife head but when he became PM again, she decided to supplement as a foreign country relation smoother and even in relgeous area, she is doing fine,

Yes, most Japanese are both Buddhist and Shinto. Even Christians participate to some extent, especially in Shinto rituals for marriage and funerals. I did the same after I married a Japanese woman in 1971. ****
