That Malaysia/Singapore route is a natural for shinkansen technology. As it is now that train route between Singapore/KL is very old, and much slower than a bus.

Since the Japanese railroad industry has enjoyed worldwide success with its technological excellence, Malaysia should consider the bullet train which remains the showcase for Japanese domestic transport. Even with a legacy of a debt burden the bullet train network has served Japan's people and its economy well. It has always stood above all other high-speed counter parts with its even more advanced technologies, including automatically changing speed, greater safety, and more comfortable passenger seats, even though the sale of the bullet train system has been limited in comparison to the French TGV and German ICE.
