So Trump is not coming.

Neither is Pence.

Both are up against it doing all they can to cover up tracks showing they might have been involved in numerous unethical actions. They need to defend themselves, or risk weakening the far right's attempts to further undermine US systems to allow corporate powers and the .01% to have even greater control over the country.

The US instead is sending E. Chao, who's also being investigated for unethical actions, and who's the wife of Mitch McConnell, also said to have long been involved in unethical actions. Trump's US thugocracy is an embarrassment.

i,m inclined to think that the absence of some world leaders reflects the actual importance of the Emperor in the world stage, that is, in world politics, you know, the ones with actual power. as for Abe, he,s gonna be busy.

Good to see the Chinese vice president going, along with a representative from South Korea.

Neither is Pres Putin, because it would have been mentioned if he were attending.

Sounds as if Abe is the one getting crowned. Well, he'd like to think he is.

A shame his favourite golfing buddy/master isn't coming. He'll have to settle with Mrs Moscow Mitch.

Isnt this going to be paid for by tax payers? Puts the consumption tax raise in perspective.
