South Korea leader can do whatever they want to cement but at the end Korean people will decide how long he can stay in the office, especially Korea is known with series from protest to protest.

Or is it to establish additional guidance to accelerate the hostilities against China?

BS comment. Nothing in his background suggests he is an area specialist or understand the history and context of East Asian international relations.

Blinken attended Harvard University from 1980 to 1984, where he majored in social studies. He co-edited Harvard's daily student newspaper, The Harvard Crimson, and wrote a number of articles on current affairs. After graduating from Harvard, Blinken worked as an intern for The New Republic for about a year. He earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1988 and practiced law in New York City and Paris. - Wiki

Has Kishida taken on a new portfolio of "Minister for Overseas Travel/photo opportunities?"

Does this mean we owe it to China and N. Korea for bringing the Japan and S. Korea together?

No, we owe it to U.S. for using China and North Korea as excuses to remain the grip on Japan and S.K. Politics, but above all money.

Hopefully, Kishida and Yoon will be able to have at least a few minutes of a cognitive and coherent Joe Biden. His senility will not help at this summit, but at least he won't fall down the steps from his airplane. Camp David should be a welcome break from the rigmarole these proud fearless leaders have to deal with on a day to day basis. Also, it would be nice if Yoon and Kishida allow more land for bigger and better military bases. Biden should be lobbying for bigger bases while he has this historic chance.

Not really because their positions are the same as before. It is President Yoon who deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.

However, it is Russia that has strengthened and expanded NATO.
