Hopefully the ties between Japan and Korea can be made stronger, and the two sovereign nations can find ways to ensure they have the means to protect their borders and their citizens from nearby countries that might want to expand their territories.

pretty sure that these are the strongest/best ties between JP/KOR & US I've seen in my own memory - these guys are getting along like old mates from school, and that's a good thing!
