We really should just tune these CCP losers out.

Should Japan smear it with "Hunny"?

Do the Chinese ever stop whining?

No one bothers listening to them anymore.

18 ( +24 / -6 )

No point in China making silly complaints and comments about other nations stating truthfully the poor behaviour of China in the region. It seems all to often the CCP has little understanding of reality, and expects others to join it in the fantasy world China wants to live in where all do as the CCP demands.

Calling out Japan is the continuation of "single out one" to try and disrupt unity of alliances. Another failed CCP strategy.

19 ( +23 / -4 )

Slowly but surely it will dawn on the CCP that the endlessly aggressive foreign policies China pursues against most of it's neighbours in the region is not paying dividends in any sense. Eleven separate disputes being waged by China in the region highlights one inescapable fact - China is the aggressor in every instance, for what ?

There is so much that is rotten in the state of China, which stems from the repressive dictatorial nature of the regime there - change must come, revolution even, if things are to improve and peaceful existence with the neighbours maintained. Nobody on this planet ever votes for a totalitarian regime, and given the choice, no-one in their right mind would really ever choose to live under one.

Wompity Womp-womp, CCP.

Don’t want to be called a regional hegemonic force? Don’t behave like one.

Problem solved.

17 ( +19 / -2 )

Why do we listen to China’s constant whining? So tiresome.

15 ( +19 / -4 )

Why do we listen the constant whining about China? It's the same. Japan and China, you guys need to talk. And please, Japan, ignore your American handlers!

And please, Japan, ignore your American handlers!

Typical wumao/CCP propaganda shill statement... The CCP is the problem, and will always be the problem since their formation. China could have been a much larger and more respected nation without the CCP screwing up the country with their behavior. The CCP lives on nothing but deceit and perceived control over others. The CCPs list of offenses against their own citizens is long., and they want to spread that corruption in their region of interest.

17 ( +21 / -4 )

Why do we listen the constant whining about China?

Because both sides don’t and probably will never get along fully

It's the same. Japan and China, you guys need to talk. And please, Japan, ignore your American handlers!

Great, if Japan could take care of itself militarily and without the help of our military, one day perhaps, but not in the foreseeable future.

China accuses..... Anything else?

15 ( +16 / -1 )

Pot calling kettle black......

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Just give China a pacifier and put the entire the entire CCP in pampers!

Some people really do live in a fantasy world.

Communist China is the constant antagonist in the region. If people cannot acknowledge that, they are clearly deluded.

A Chinese man living in Japan was indicted Tuesday for allegedly spray-painting the word "toilet" on a stone pillar at the war-linked Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo in May.

His feelings about Yasukuni Shrine are irrelevant. The shrine is public property and he has no right to vandalize it. He should be deported immediately.

The shrine is private property.

Pot calling kettle black......

Aka gaslighting 101. When backed into a corner, attack with the lowest common denominator. Rather pathetic isn't it. Then again Winnie the Pooh's mandarins do as they're told, or else ...

5 ( +7 / -2 )

The shrine is private property.

@Wallace. I stand corrected. But the fact that it is private and is open to the public still means the vandal had no right to write graffiti on it. He should be deported.

I wasn't saying the graffiti was ok. The shrine is private which means the government has no control over it. They can do whatever they like.

No China, Japan, its friends and allies are just becoming assertive ( very different from aggressive ) and also simply exercising their rights, as a sovereign nation, to be open, collaborative, with a bit of pragmatism and spine thrown in for good measure.

I believe this is the phase where we enter a new paradigm defined by some staunch optimism where we all hope for free trade, cooperation and mutual prosperity, but will also call out any issues that arise or perceived bad behavior. You are welcome to convince us otherwise anytime too. It's a sit down.

No one however, and we all know this in our bones, gets to control the narrative at any adult table, and this is where we should aim, an the invite if it were, to a place where all regional players get to voice concerns and speak candidly . You don't even have to like it, just learn how deal with it and respond as you see fit. You cant just choose to ignore stuff you don't like.

None of these concepts are difficult nor unreasonable.

All the best,

the free world

Like any good bully, China plays the victim card as soon as they get called on their actions.

Great, if Japan could take care of itself militarily and without the help of our military, one day perhaps, but not in the foreseeable future.

In order to do that Japan would need to make nukes. Which, they could in a fairly short amount of time. Neither the US nor China want to see a nuclear arms race kick off in the region.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

If the CCP wasn't an authoritarian trying to bully other nations, there wouldn't be anything to smear them with.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Undeniably true. The current phase is a smear campaign and economic sanctions. What comes next Uncle Sam?

Source. What a load of hooey.

A few of those terms will grab the attention of local authorities. All other terms are fine. Are you defending Falun Gong?

A few of those terms will grab the attention of local authorities.

I’m sorry, but if reading any of those terms will grab any attention from authorities at all you live in an embarrassing authoritarian state. Also, they will block the site

Are you defending Falun Gong?

I’m discussing the right to talk about it and read about it, which you can’t do openly and freely in China

Also you just outted yourself. Nowhere in that post is ‘Falun Gong’ written in English which means you read it in Chinese

"smear attacks” against China

Is "smear attacks" included under the umbrella of things the CCP had claimed "hurt the feelings of Chinese people", curious the CCP are claiming this while their pirates are physically attacking boats from other nations. Grow up CCP, your nation is a part of the world, it isn't yours alone yet. Lese majeste is a dated notion, that is not recognized by most modern states.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

China continues its campaign to make the world hate them. Incredible at how bad they are at attempting to be a globally respected country.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Are you defending Falun Gong?

What pray tell is wrong with Falun Gong?

Every year PRC "diplomacy" becomes ever more shrill and is starting to sound more like the North Koreans. Are there any well adjusted mature adults in the CCP leadership or are they all a bunch of thin skinned insecure babies?

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Are there any well adjusted mature adults in the CCP leadership or are they all a bunch of thin skinned insecure babies?

Any mature well adjusted adults will have been purged or vamoosed one by one for Emporer Xi.

The rest still at the party know it could be them any second, and will consciously and collectively toe the line straight into the abyss.

Being forced to live a lie is the very definition of communism after all. Drink enough of your own kool aid and you will start to believe yourselves so omnipotent that thinking the entire world will eventually toe the line too is a quite reasonable assumption.

It’s pure madness.

South Korea and Japan not having nuclear weapons may make the world a safer place, I don't know. But, it seems to me that not having nuclear weapons makes both countries more easily blackmailed by the neighboring countries that do, and furthermore, open to blackmail by Trump if he gets back in the White House.

The typical rudeness of Chinas officials can be found in the statements. They usually build their complaints on "thou shall behave like this or this". A simpler and way, way more polite expression would be to change the statement to a question: What have we done that makes you speak like that about our country? Please state your opinions with a reasonable context and we shall look into it. Together we can work for a better future.

Somehow polite phrases don't fit well with Chinas self image. Somehow they think of them selves as some sort of divine country with a mandate from heaven. Sorry China the mongols took your mandate and chewed it up.

the basic problem is that there can only be one hegemony.
