China angry over Japanese ministers' visit to Yasukuni Shrine

I don't know how many times I have to post this, but Yasukuni Shrine is NOT like Arlington Cemetary. It is vehemently right-wing and full of imperial era propaganda. In fact, their official English language version Web site once posted that "Japan was forced into fighting World War II" and portrayed Japan as "the victim" of the war and atomic bombing by the U.S. Also it stated that Japan fought the war for "peace and prosperity of Asia". This is no change from the Empire of Japan days.

If you agree with this, then continue supporting visits to Yasukuni Shrine.

I do not give a hoot about what China thinks, but the Japanese population should protest their government officials going to Yasukuni because it is wrong.

If they want to pay respect to war dead, they can do that at another place, and not at that revisionist political shrine.

Let them have a dignified ceremony in a place that is without the political baggage.

Contrary to the above report, neighbors are becoming indifferent towards the R-winger J Politicians' behavior..what people do care is the fact general J citizens & J image are taken as hostage. Yasukuni shrine stands for whatever symbolic meaning is not important anymore..what is important is : is there any other genuine political leaders far- sighted with sagesse to overcome the deadlock ? It is "pretending" - the feelings of Chinese and Koreans towards the honoring of their killers and torturers can be nothing but revulsion and deep disgust.

So your government may kill many more of your people, torture them because they're of a different religion ot different ethnicity and it's no one's business but whatever shrine the Japanese visit is your business? I think it is pretty simple..Germans understands the crimes the Nazis committed during WWII especially the mass murder of Jews at Holocaust and etc therefore the Germans would never build a Memorial honoring or praying for the spirits of Hitler and Nazi class 1 war criminals. However the Japanese government has never came to terms with their history and the crimes committed by these class 1 criminals such as the Nanjing Massacre, Asian sex salves and etc. And they fail to understand that their annual visit to the shrine honoring these criminals shows a denial of history and the crimes committed...And open up old wounds especially for the Chinese who witnessed the mass murder and rape of young girls and women in Nanjing, Shenyang, and Shanghai..Some historians state that over 500,000 people were massacred in Nanjing along..

So its no wonder why the Chinese and the Koreans are passionate about their visits..

So how many times did Japan apologize exactly, and how many times have Japanese politicians denied Japan's WW2 crimes or visited Yasukuni Shrine? Let's do the Math.

While we're at it, we should also look at how many times German politicians denied the Holocaust and how many times did Germny apologize for WW2.

It is an "internal matter" for Japan if those Japanese war criminals committed crimes against humanity against Japanese people, ok?

If the muslims wake up and realize that the Japanese have the priviledge to worshipped,. pray and pay respect their Class A war criminals in Yasukuni shrine. Seems to me that if they just do some introspection and look at how many of their own people they persecuted and killed during their 'Step Forward' and 'Cultural Revolution' they'd realize they had better go after their own communist leaders.
