Another 2 faced comment from China.
What happened to the pledge of staying out of the affairs of other countries?
This is why the trust level worldwide of China is so low!
TaiwanIsNotChina
They would be afraid that countries aren't just accepting Peking's bullying.
Unless it is Russia, then it is a-ok to eliminate neighbors.
Michael Machida
China has lost it's confidence

But, Mr. Wang, it's OK for China to steal other countries' territory and threaten them with military/paramilitary forces, and through economic aggression, all for Emperor Xi's dreams of conquest?
Typical crap from China. Other countries have long since had enough, and are moving on from failed China to far more welcoming India and SE Asia.
Rodney
China is liked by over 120 countries, colonial white countries 37.

The title says it all.
"China Blast..."
China is completely incapable of 'building' lasting relationship with anyone, because the CCP is all about control, who in their right mind wants/need control by the narcissistic CCP. BRICS was supposed to fix the ills of the world - LOL. Ecuador welcomed the CCP, then the CCP fishing fleet arrive on its door step - LOL, Africa welcomed the CCP, then Chinese traders and labours arrive - LOL, China build a road of friendship to Tibet, then the soldiers arrive - tragic....

Which survey is this exactly? Please provide a link.

Yeah, I'm calling BS on this. I would wager the population of most of the world ranks the US alone higher than China on likability.

Oh for dog's sake Xi play another record. No one complains about you meeting with Putin or attending BRICS meetings. Perhaps you should change the needle on your old style record player.

Japan and China are brainwashed. Why so obsessed with western culture?
That facts are that Japan is heavily reliant of China as a source of income (and U.S. as drain of expenses). There are almost more Chinese tourists on the streets this week, even though Obon is a Japanese holiday.

Correction: "Japan and South Korea"

Not sure what kind of survey you are looking at, but the most popular survey regarding how other countries ranks each other ranks Canada, Norway, Sweden as 1,2,3. The US is 22 and funnily enough Taiwan is 25 and that's as far as it shows. China is probably on the other end of that list together with countries such as Russia and North Korea.

The fact China can say this with a straight face is impressive:-
China has been doing exactly that since Jinping Xi came to power. So how is it they tell others they should not do exactly what China itself is actively doing?
The fact is this was a meeting between concerned allies regarding the recalcitrance of China itself. None have made bases out of reefs in Chinese territory as China has done to others.
More of "the thief" crying out over others alliances and meetings, and attempting to accuse them of poor behavior in order to blow smoke over its own actions of thievery.
Makes great news on Russian and Iranian news services, but for anyone else it means nothing at all, other than a chuckle at China's gall.

The racist views of one Chinese CCP member mean nothing. Working with the west does not mean your trying to alter your looks or genes. How a person looks is of no relevance in politics.
More importantly one needs to know where one's future lays, and who one's friends are. Japanese are never going to forget their roots, but that does not ensure today's security or tomorrows food on the table. Having close ties with like minded nations (which China most definitely is not) and good relations with allies helps ensure both.
The only regional nations in opposition are China and North Korea. Everyone else is jumping on board one way or another to oppose a hostile China. It is a VERY popular policy in the region.

But being brought up in the West and absorbing the values of that part of the world will turn you into a Westerner… No matter how dark your hair or how round your nose….

To quote China launches drills around Taiwan in angry response to VP's US trip
The same Chinese dictatorship that diplomatically vomits that the democratically global freedom human right loving community is......
“Seek its own security at the expense of the security interests of others and of regional peace and stability.”
“The international community has its own judgment as to who is creating contradictions and increasing tensions,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin.
The same threats and rhetoric associated with the German Reich 1933–43, later the Greater German Reich 1943–45

Mr. Xi would prefer to be allowed to conquer all of Asia without any resistance. Hopefully his successor will be more interested in peaceful relations with China's neighbors. Until then, the choice is, cooperation in common defence among those who wish to remain free, or succumb willingly to conquest from Beijing.

China has no say in any meeting of any heads of state. I can imagine the frothing hysterical rage of Chinese mouthpieces if the Japanese declared that China should not meet with another head of state. Squeals of interfering with China's internal affairs, blah blah blah.
To suggest this is Chinese hypocrisy, is to give hypocrisy a bad name.
The world needs to stop pussyfooting around and be less diplomatic in denouncing Chinese hypocrisy and clearly point it up for what it is.

As if at this point anyone cares what china has to say about ANYTHING

Xi has caught the Putin virus both are spiraling out of control. Russia is in a terrible war and China is crumbling economically and suffering from idiotic climate disasters that they created. When you get two irrational mad men losing support of their people they try to flip the narrative to try to keep control and eventually go to war by picking fights with countries they know they can bully.

I don't have a big issue with China, it is just the CCP and leaders in China that are the problem. 1M people choosing what 1.3B others do doesn't seem right, especially when all the others can't hold the 1M accountable every few years via public, open, elections.
It is just a matter of time before the CCP loses support and is forced out. Hopefully, the mainland will ask for help from the other, successful, prosperous, Chinese country that is one of the freest countries in the world by independent measures.
When that happens, 90% of the money they waste on military can be redirected towards their economy and getting along, fairly, in the world. IF they do that, hold open and democratic elections, and setup equal laws for everyone to fairly compete, foreign investments will skyrocket. China under CCP control was too greedy. They need to learn about win-win negotiations.
