The United States and other trading partners complain that Beijing's currency controls keep the yuan undervalued, giving China's exporters an unfair price advantage and hurting foreign competitors at a time when the global economy is struggling.

Isn't it interesting that when people accuse other people of doing things, it often turns out that they are doing it too!

This is a good move on the part of Japan, it's time for it to wean itself from the US. China is becoming stronger and cut similar deals with Russia and others... the demise of the dollar is inevitable as it is becoming unpopular due to Washington's hegemonic world dominance policy. If you act like a bully, you will run out of friends eventually. East Asia and BRICS are growing and the Western powers ;ie.(big banks) will not go down without a fight though... already lining up the troops for Syria and next Iran... please God help us, something big is coming.

Yes this can be a golden ticket if it works out!

There is no reason that China and Japan should work against each other. Why the Asian countries want to invite the non-Asia country to mess with Asia business is beyond me. The Western country never asks Asia country to 'help' them. Is Asia country stupider than the Western country?

Don't think it should have any negative effect. Any and all good trade agreements are generally encouraged for the long term health of the world economy. Good to see the Yuan getting liberalized, if only a little. It'd be great if the let it float completely, but let's see how they allow it to float against the Yen and how it works out.
