QUAD is a giant nothing-burger. The Japanese right-wingers and their sycophants can attack me for being a "CCP shill" or a "Russian bot" while denying reality. The QUAD can't even come with a united message denouncing Russia. The QUAD has done nothing except waste US, India and Australia's time while helping the Japanese far-right lunatics chest-thump because they think they're big boys now.

To effectively deal with China, you're going to need international cooperation boycotting everything Chinese. I already spoke about this in another post, so I don't want to repeat myself.

Doesn't everything "inherently" belong to China?

A wannabe bully is whining that they can not be bully anymore. If they want to be the toughest on the block then they should prove it.

Put up or shut up, China!

Everything here is a lie except for the made up parts.

"China’s top diplomat on Monday accused Washington of trying to create an Asian version of the U.S.-European NATO military alliance and said it is up to the Biden administration to improve relations with North Korea."

Here’s come China !

I agree, that they are trying but as much as the US wants it, I don't think this will be successful. It's a very different dynamic and barring a few close allies/vassals, the US doesn't have nearly the influence in Asia as they do in Europe. If anything, their recent overextensions with NATO have only served to undermine their effort in Asia. China is looking like a lot more attractive a business partner for many people.

“Where to go next depends largely on what the American side does: will it really take concrete actions to solve the problem, or will it continue to use the (Korean) peninsula issue as a strategic bargaining chip?”

I can answer that one for you Mr. Wang, it's the second one.

“China is willing to continue to play a constructive role and make efforts to this end," he said.

WHooooooo.. who is going to believe the words of China?????????????

China lashes Washington over Quad:

Why would China worry about Quad that is already in terminal illness and malfunctional?

Without the unstable India, AUKUS has become the Quad in disguise, with Japan sticking to US all the time..

China sees India as a direct threat! It borders their territory. It is competing in all the same sectors! It has more technology credibility globally. How many major international companies are run by Chinese leaders compared to Indian CEOs or presidents like Google? China is not trusted. Finally, it is a democratic yet "corrupt" nuclear superpower.

On top of that, India spanked China's butt in all the most recent skirmishes. China cannot beat India in war; the Quad would humiliate them.

That is what they fear!

I think China sees India as a 1.3 billion market for its products. India too.

China sees everyone as a threat because they are insecure about being disliked by nearly every country in the world.

Maybe they should try working on their own relationships instead of criticizing everyone else.

China's version of Goebbels has again shown that China objects to nations that work together.

China's only card is to blame others, especially the US. China ignores other nations security concerns and ignores the regions core interests and complains when other nations do not grant China everything it wants, when it wants it.

China’s top diplomat on Monday accused Washington of trying to create an Asian version of the U.S.-European NATO military alliance

NATO is a defensive alliance to defend democracies. Having one in the Indo-Pacific region is therefore a good thing that increases security and peace. China wants control through anarchy.

and said it is up to the Biden administration to improve relations with North Korea.

Biden has been trying for a year to talk with the NK admin but they refuse to negotiate. Until they are willing to talk, of China encourages them to do so, this is all on Kim to make a move.

Wang complained Washington is organizing U.S. allies to “suppress China.”

He failed to finish that statement it should be "suppress China's military and territorial expansion"

That has to be suppressed.

The United States and other governments have sent warships through sections of the sea claimed by Beijing to assert the right of vessels from all countries to use the waters.

Because China's claims are illegal and bogus. These ships travel in International waters and have every right to do so as often as they please. China needs to understand that is a "core interest" of the international community. Chinese attempts to destabilize and control the region is why nations come together to oppose that. It is not Chinese territory and China has no more rights in International waters than any other nation.

CCP again blowing hot air trying to cause troubles for everyone else. That seems to be its main goal.

“The real purpose of the ‘Indo-Pacific strategy’ is to create an Indo-Pacific version of NATO,” he said."

I don't really think so. But I hope the Wang is right. The only countries that vehemently object to multinational security arrangements are autocratic dictatorships who plan on bullying smaller countries.

China could make this go away by trading fairly with others, opening their society, allowing Chinese citizens the opportunity to actually choose what they want in their society and govt actions, stop attempting to hide history and otherwise being a strong, but fair, neighbor in the global community.

The CCP has a history of lies, deception, and causing harm to their own people. Often, for very little reason. The floods last year that killed over 1000 Chinese. Why did the CCP feel the need to lie about that? It is a natural disaster. Poor infrastructure is a problem everywhere. Lying about it just shows the depth of immaturity of the CCP govt.

The fact that Pooh the winnie is blocked in China is really funny. It says much about Chinese govt. What it says is extremely unflattering and everyone, Chinese and non-Chinese know it.

Distortions much. The US and Australia both have long coastlines on the Pacific Ocean. The US has numerous island possessions (Guam, Wake, Johnson Atoll, American Samoa, etc.), a whole state, Hawaii, and the Aleutian Islands that are part of the State of Alaska all in the Pacific. The US Navy has operated in the Pacific and east Asia since the early 1800s. Wrt India, the Bay of Bengal and North Arabian Sea are both very much a part of the Indian Ocean. India has other island possessions in the Indian Ocean. They are legitimately the major power in the Indian Ocean region.
