Thank you, thank you, thank you China. Never thought I'd say that, but yes the locals here should not even be traveling to China right now risking to bring back infection again. Why the government allows any travel to China is beyond anyone's imagination or just selfish.

As if Japanese are lining up to get into, they are lining up, but to get out of china.

Great choice. Once less thing that we have to worry about. A Japanese going to China and bring back a virus. Thank you China.

At this moment, how many Japanese really want to visit the virus-hit China for mere sightseeing or "non-essential" traveling purposes?

Good move that benefits both countries.

Now if every country would do the same. Shut down international travel until this thing is under control worldwide.

That's like somebody giving their girlfriend/boyfriend an STD, then refusing to date them because they have an STD.

They got quite enough of it here, and unlike in China, where we're not seeing a huge increase in infections since they have finally chosen not to lie about it any longer (that we know of) and are effectively quarantining, you've got a government here that is only starting to admit we haven't even seen the peak of this thing yet, is not properly testing nor making tests available, is still putting the economy and private business before human lives, and is about to see the number of infected sky rocket.

I wonder how good results will be achieved by forcing only external blocking and suppressing domestic checkups.
Is there any other country that is relieved while cutting off the border without worrying about the country?
It is really questionable whether it will be an example of the world or a foolish Japanese who gives a smile around the world.
A month later? Maybe the result is closer.
