We have enough debts and we are not even a FULL member, no need to contribute anymore.

UN is nothing but a cartel. It's sole purpose is to undermine US interests all over the world. It should be disbanded and kicked out of New York City. If it wants to stay in the US, it should pay 10x more rent it currently pay to house in headquarter in NYC.

IT IS DOUBTFUL THE NEW SECURITY COUNCIL OPENED ANYTIME SOON.

THERE IS AN ECONOMIC WAR BETWEEN NUCLEAR COUNTRIES.

Contribution is link to your economy power. China is second economy, and loosing the "in developpement" countries protections. So she have to pay more. It is just math and no politic.

Your place in security council is not link to money, otherwise, the council would be a shame and the real decision made somewhere else. Having money power allow you to make economic war instead of real nuclear war, but China have lost all his rights since she became back a social tyranny.

She did too agressive spying in USA. So here, "paying more" is like "being on s##t list".

What are you talking about? The Republic of China existed since 1912 and officially one of the victors of the WW2.

What are you talking about? Read what I wrote. That's exactly what I said.

Anyhow, Japan will never become a permanent UNSC seat holder with the Chinese veto in place, so why even bother trying.

The Countries that won WWII are the 5 permanent members, and the ones that decide everything.

China (The Peoples Republic of China) did not win anything in WWII. They didn't even exist until 4 years after WWII ended. The Republic of China, now Taiwan did. Pretty ridiculous in retrospect.

The Countries that won WWII are the 5 permanent members, and the ones that decide everything. Also this way, one Country, the US, can decide unilaterally to invade another Country despite what the ONU decides (see Iraq). So, paying money to ONU is a waste, since the ones that decide will always be WWII winners no matter what, plus the US - for now - have more power than the others.

Nothing to proud of .

Whats so special when the UN dictate how your country should be managed.

In Australia we have a puppet gov run by the UN telling

How many 3rd world Reffos we must take at the disaproval of the Australian public.

As far as i and many others are concerned, any payments made to the UN is only extortion mony !!

Japan shouldn't have paid a yen to UN that still lists Japan as its enemy.  But Japan has been paying the biggest contribution. (US is in arrears)
