Abe government's answers at The Diet is full of evasion and deception.

False charge,extortion of confession,violation against Human Rights,mass surveillance,crackdown and so,

Many problems of "conspiracy-law" are not dissolved at all.

under the name of "Counterterrorism",

Japanese government expand power of authority,

and constraint individual freedom of citizen.

They can hammer home in no time a bill about expanding their powers.

And when it comes to keeping the population from collapsing, helping your women help their children, or companies that kill people....

Illegality or abuse of authority by politics,police,bureaucrat and corporations are exempted from target of conspiracy law by Abe government.

Shezus! Abe is quoting the un as justification at the same time they are saying he has crossed the line into George Orwell land. Not bad for a katsu-don ex-PM who quit because of a stomach ache.

Can they use it against organized crime? Yakuza? That would be the most obvious application...yet...perhaps it will never be used thus...well, whatever. I can't keep up with the bureaucratic/political logic. Well, Japan flails...it's leaders are just too comfortable based on general public narcolepsy.

Ram through yet another law suspiciously simular to 1930s Laws that repeat (more than) laws that bound an individual to the state and require a circumvention of individual freedoms over sub servitude to the state. Really the term "history repeats" has never been more apt.

As the saying goes, a picture speaks a thousand words, none more so than the picture for this very article! Look at the protesters. Is there a single person there under 60? (I'm being generous). The only people with enough time on their hands to give a rats behind are the folk who are retired. The rest of the population is either slogging it away at school busy being brain washed while the rest are being worked to death by companies trying to make ends meet. Exactly where a government wants them to be so that you don't meddle in their affairs.

The argument is too weak. It tries to appeal to a fear but failing. This will not convince the LDP members, nor large public, whose support the opposition need if they really want to reject the bill.
