Japan has Japan's culture, Japan's tradition, and Japan's way of doing things. Too bad if it is controversial to you.

Agree with comment from Patricia Yarrow - Empress Masako’s outfits and especially those hats don’t do her justice. Not sure why she can’t emulate her mother-in-law who dressed fashionably and appropriately.
