Except for the fact that NK has a 'military first' policy where the majority of any money and aid goes to the state to build up their forces. Regardless of any sanctions in place, the people still starve. It's been that way for decades, long before any of Kim's nuclear ambitions. The only group punishing NK civilians is NK.

what a load of drivel. if it is true that 70% of NK people are starving, lift the sanctions and stop starving them. otherwise it would seem that USA is collectively punishing 18 million civilians. that would be one of the worst human rights abuses in history.
