Unfortunately, most Japanese don't get good education about China-Japan relationships. China and Japan are not historical rival, quite honestly, it is just opposite.

Feel like sending all invoices on medical treatment and expenses to Wuhan or Beijing authorities....

China risks and propaganda led by CCP should never been overlooked.

When it comes to Coivd 19 and international relations, Japan really played smart game. Instead of China bashing, Japan sent aid and supplies to China ,and thus winning the hearts of the Chinese people. Instead of engaging in racial name calling, Japanese leaders donated money to China. Instead of kicking China in the teeth, when China was down, Japan tried to help China get back on its feet. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the relationship between Japan and China improved during the Covid19 storm.

This better be a sincere relationship. I hate fake gesture in-exchange for trade. Anyway, japan must know, China and india are the only 2 countries thatcan help them. I have lived in japan for 32 years, god have i seen the japanese. They pray to u when u are up but try to get u down from behind when they do not get bebefits from u anymore. Lets see if this situation is honest.

Good! I don't know how Japan dodged this one but it looks like it isnt hit nearly as hard as the west countries are, despite of having much more Chinese visitors.

Japan handled this crisis with amazing grace

Hoping that Nanjing now will finally step aside and let Wuhan symbolize new Japan-China relations.
