I find it difficult to believe that Abe could contribute anything to "peace" in the region.

He says all the right things in public, but has yet to produce anything, domestically or internationally.

Japan remember how you followed George W and all his and his little people into Iraq? Remember the sales pitch: 'Weapons of Mass Destruction!!!'? Remember the late Jacque Chirac's impartiality and the freedom fries thrown in the faces of French men and women? Well I hope you at least remember the results.

When it comes to Iran-US-Trump, stay the course Shinzo! Stay the course!

The last time Abe went to Iran there was a major incident!

By any standard that would be classed as a major fail...

Japan, stay out. following the US will only lead you into war - remember Iraq and WMD? This is just an excuse of the US to invade another nation to show the world it still has it; still has the muscle power. What the US does today to Iran, it may do tomorrow to any nation that it becomes displeased with, including Japan; just ask Iraq, Libya, Syria, .....

Isn’t this what the JMSDF is for? What the point having one of the best fleets there is and not use them. Better put them to good use. We can protect our own ships. No need for this so called coalition which will only bring troubles.

The vile reach of the Great Satan knows no boundaries.

Japan should not blindly follow the US, especially with the mentally compromised Trump at the helm.

Still too many nations just following Trump into another war.

When will they learn?
