This coming on the heels of a report stating that BECAUSE of this trade war Japan's economy is hurting.

Why didnt folks concentrate on THIS so the economy wouldn't be affected as much?

Oh right, take action AFTER the damage is done, oh so Japanese!

I don’t see this providing new opportunities for Japan. Chinese people have always seen Japan the same way it does now. That’s why so many people travel here for vacation. Also, Japan has the cheapest apple products.

This trade war hurts because Japan is largely an exporter nation and the two biggest importers of Japanese goods have slowed down on importing.

We believe that Japan has state-of-the-art technologies and know-how to tackle such areas

Japan has not been able to tackle their population crisis.

We hope that Japanese companies will invest more on China

While one or a few people may say that, Chinese people are more interested in investing in foreign companies and not have foreign companies invest in them. Japan’s market is largely inaccessible to foreign businesses.

There are always opportunities for Japan, no matter what.
