Still, Biden may view his overall approach to trade issues as a "success" so far

Cool, both parties are willing to sell out their country to an all but named enemy (China). They are no less an antagonist than the USSR was in the 70's/80's, yet because companies make money, all is good.

@OnTheTrail, I think you missed the objective of this initiative. It excludes China and is intended to draw US trade partners away from their dependence on China for manufacturing and market access. It is also intended to prevent China from gaining the kind of power that allows it to set the rules for trade as they would obviously be counter to western interests.
