Pointless and a waste of time. It can't do anything!

The Russia and Ukraine tensions have been going on for years and years. The G20 just keep putting more and more sanctions on Russia that has just escalated the tensions. Trump was the only one to de-escalate the tensions by talking with Putin and trying to negotiate deals. Perhaps G20 should take a different approach.

Everywhere it goes, Russia can not escape the fact it is now a pariah state engaging in terrorist bombings of civilian infrastructure.

No friends willing to support Russia, the best they get is abstentions from votes.

Dont use sport, dont politicize, dont sanction cry's Russia as it pulverizes Ukraine cities and citizens in its war of expansion.

No support for Russia in the G20 but plenty of condemnation.

Is the message getting through to Russia yet? No, still deaf, dumb and blind to the horrors it causes.

real wealthy Russia. what a joke!

no, this comment is a joke.

the only thing Russian that is real wealthy, is Putin.

That's a big bunch of hoes.

hoe: a long-handled gardening tool with a thin metal blade, used mainly for weeding.

Planting trees, growing food, sharing it with fellow mortals is a beautiful way of world-building. Daily doses of hard manual work add life to our life span. Wishing the distinguished world leaders at the Bali summit - strength, stamina, and constructive vision for service to humankind and to Planet Earth.

Well, their really raising the bar (or, in this case, shovel) in their united front against Russia here - the opportunity to show clearly how Russia must be isolated and condemned as the Great Aggressor in this unholy and vicious war which they've embarked on needlessly - they weren't in any sense being intimidated or encroached upon by the West / NATO / Ukraine, or anybody, as they continue to claim in their lying propaganda

Putin, who is mentally deranged, and his vile acolytes, have a blood-lust which they are determined to follow through on, indiscriminately murdering innocent men, women, children, babies, for what ?? How evil will they prove to be ??

Standing up to the bullies is the only way to ultimately restore normal civilised life for all of the people in Ukraine, which is nothing less than they deserve.

As for the War Criminals, all they deserve is a one-way ticket to The Hague, unless ordinary normal Russian people take matters into their own hands - we can but hope.

The world's only nuclear terrorist so far was President Truman, a US Democrat.

And another unconfortable fact is that the only reason for the existence of Nato was threatening the Sowjets and is now threatening Russia!

Biden wants another 38 billion dollars for this lost cause, while not dealing with American fiscal need,Biden wonder why party members do not support him

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Russia becomes more isolated. Time to decouple it from the world economy.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

another unconfortable fact is that the only reason for the existence of Nato was threatening the Sowjets and is now threatening Russia!

Not true. Another false perspective from anti west poser.

In other words the largest G20 countries did not.

That guess does nothing to remove the fact the vast majority of G20 nations condemn Russia's invasion.

Poland say Ukraine killed their citizen

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

If Putin stops the war ends. If Zenlenskyy stops there is no more Ukraine. NATO stated the missiles were Ukraine's defense.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

lear terrorist so far was President Truman, a US Democrat.

I think you meant to say, President Truman, an American.

Planet Earth is a Village. A Happy Village. When one member of this Village behaves in a series of actions, not only threatening but, actually causing destruction to the Village, All inhabitants of the Village must rise up to stop this ANTISOCIAL, CRIMINAL & EVIL Villager's behaviour.

Wallace, what will be left of Ukraine, but a empty shell ,if they continue, the US will continue on regardless

I found it strange that a domestic lockdown for an alledged uptick of Covid cases was implemented in the area the G20 was held from the 11th until the 17th. Interesting timing.

I wonder if other places will do the same when holding international events in the future?

Sure kept the protests to a minimum.

They get together to deplore what the US tells them to deplore and pose for a photo "planting" trees, pathetic bunch of clowns..

The world's only nuclear terrorist so far was President Truman, a US Democrat.

Democrat or republican, any of them would have been the genocide that gave that orden..

*order

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

They get together to deplore what the US tells them to deplore

So invading a sovereign nation, and war-criming it's citizens isn't something you feel should be deplored, and think no one else would either if the US didn't tell them to?

Um, sure. Ok bruh.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Haa,I do not support Putin, are you supporting the death of Ukrainain,by supporting a fail strategy by Zelensky

Again, you seem confused, Zelinsky is the head Ukrainian. He literally represents the citizens of the nation. This isn't a Zelinsky strategy, this is the strategy of Ukraine, the nation. They are fighting for their homeland.

If this were your country, would you just give in to the invaders?

"Most members strongly condemned the war in Ukraine," the declaration said, signaling that Russia, which is a member of G20, opposed the wording. The positions taken by China and India, which abstained from a similar U.N. resolution in March, were not immediately clear.

Russia opposed the wording because Russia calls this conflict a special military operation, not a war.

However, there was no unanimous condemnation of Russia at the G20 which is what the West wanted. G20 does not just consist of US and it's vassals, it’s more evenly represented than G7 which is essentially the US and it's gang which like to hang out together.

G20 declaration merely called for an end to a senseless conflict which has caused suffering and disrupted supply chains. There was no process of assigning blame to one country.

From more unbiased sources, the below was the gist of G20 declaration -

the Leaders Declaration also reflected persisting differences between G20 members on matters such as Ukraine-related sanctions and the lack of consensus on denouncing Russia’s actions.

“Most members strongly condemned the war in Ukraine and stressed it is causing immense human suffering and exacerbating existing fragilities in the global economy – constraining growth, increasing inflation, disrupting supply chains, heightening energy and food insecurity, and elevating financial stability risks,” the declaration said.

“There were other views and different assessments of the situation and sanctions. Recognising that the G20 is not the forum to resolve security issues, we acknowledge that security issues can have significant consequences for the global economy,” it added.

It seems that conditions are getting very similar to those that were around before the start of the Russian Revolution, in 1917.

And really, a revolution is the possible way that Russia isn't quarantined from humanity for multiple generations. If the people rise up and overthrow the Kremlin, the new government can be negotiated with.

A bunch of leaders with some hoes

All the US loving war mongers blaming Russia for bombing Poland need to eat some humble pie! Maybe the "heroic" Ukrainians aren't so squeaky clean after all....

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

It is obvious you know nothing of Russian/Ukraine history. So, going by your statement, the Russians were attacking and killing themselves.

Sounds like something a Russian would do.

All the US loving war mongers blaming Russia for bombing Poland need to eat some humble pie! Maybe the "heroic" Ukrainians aren't so squeaky clean after all....

Ah yes, one errant missile landing in Poland obviously means Ukraine isn't "squeaky clean." What a brilliant take. lol

The hatred is showing.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

The hatred is showing.

If anything in the world ever justified hatred, it's a country invading another and war-criming its innocent civilians.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Well, that certainly puts Putin in his place.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Too bad Ukraine isn't actually innocent.

Um, I said Ukrainian civilians bruh. I notice you left out the word that ruined your argument.

Anyways, in regards to invading other nations and committing war crimes on its citizens, only Russia is guilty of that one mate.

100% on Russia.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Too bad Ukraine isn't actually innocent.

Countries invaded this year;

Russia 1 - 0 Ukraine.

Just to get you in the mood for the World Cup, which Russia was thrown out of, along with virtually every other sphere of civilized interaction.

But at least they have their weak-minded western warriors to keep up the keyboard war.
