Donald Trump came to meet Japan's emperor but it was the U.S. president who played the monarch in Tokyo

Referring to, or calling Trump a "monarch" is an insult to the true monarchs in the world! He will probably go down in history as one of, if not THE most uncouth, childish, and moronic president elected in the US in recent, if not all history!

Unless of course the writer is trying to make a comparison to a monarch butterfly, but that too is an insult to the butterfly as well, as I am sure that Trump would never have come out of his cocoon as a monarch, but may a moth instead!

"We're not looking for regime change," Trump said, explaining that he only cared about Iran not achieving nuclear power status.

I on the other hand, insist on regime change.

November 2020.

Trump's gratuitous, uncalled for remarks on Biden's IQ, parroting the Pyongyang fratricide, show once again how much class his 72 years of lowlife have brought to the office which represents the USA. The Japanese, as is their wont, would never publicly reveal their real opinions of this crass American whom the whole world can see is a president with no clothes and no class.

And the crazy thing is that Trump's supporters will praise his for this style. The will call him wily, and show how he always has people guessing at his next move. When in fact he himself has no idea what will come out of his mouth.

The thing that is very sad for me, is that I am happy that he did not embarrass himself or the US while in Japan. I was waiting for him to do or say something stupid, and luckily he seemed to pull it off. But man oh man that is a low bar when you are happy the president of the US didn't make himself look like a complete fool.

Only Trump could call someone a low IQ and spell his name wrong in the same sentence.

Boy the comedians are going to have a riot with this tweet!!!

and promised to buy 105 F-35 warplanes.

And there it is. The real reason the US encouraged Japan to modify its constitution regarding (self) defence: to create a new customer for the US military industrial complex.

Abe bent over backwards to make sure "Donald," as he called him at their press conference, was happy throughout the visit starting Saturday.

A.K.A. kissing his big butt!

What did Abe get in return?

Trump dialled down trade tensions, for one, announcing that any serious discussions in negotiations on his insistence that Japan open to more U.S. products will be put off until after Abe gets through elections here in July.

"Unless Trump changes his mind on the matter."

This part was missing.

Of course allies are confused. They are dealing with someone who is unfit for leadership.

Wow! Mrs Trump is a head taller than our Emperor. Maybe they could have recommended she not wear those amazingly tall high heeled pumps for this photo....

but Trump signaled he believes his own instincts better.

There are choices.

One, people can trust Trump, someone whose mental and emotional skills were never that great and that clearly are declining.

Two, trust the neo-cons in Trump's admin pushing for greater military spending and even possibly more invasions and wars.

Three, vote Trump out. If Trump and the other politicians (e.g. McConnel, Graham, etal) supporting him aren't voted out, the rapidly fading US empire will even more quickly dissolve, and the world will be placed at even greater risk.

Trump must know this: why else would he try so hard to undermine the remaining bits of the democratic system that could possibly check him.

Japan has taken a different tack: flattering and befriending the unpredictable American.

Understatement of the year...

Abe bent over backwards to make sure "Donald," as he called him at their press conference, was happy throughout the visit starting Saturday.

He just bent over. That's all.

"Because of the very close personal relationship with Donald, the bond of the U.S.-Japan alliance has become unshakable, the closest in the whole world," Abe said.

Translation:

"Because of my mastery of the ancient japanese art of Oshiri Chu jutsu the bond of the U.S.-Japan alliance has become unshakable, the closest in the whole world"

Trump had run his business empire for a long time. He knows business, he is just not responding because

he is not getting , what he wants from the Japanese side that's all. Issues like money for America.

The best way to handle an insane and unstable person is to talk nice to him, flatter him and just hope he leaves without so much fuzz. Then call the nice men in the white coats to come and collect him as soon as possible.

So, good jobb PM Abe.

Unfortunately, the democratic candidates will slowly off each other one by one as the infighting begins. Trump will win in 2020.

Yeah, she does look hot though any angle you look at it.

The thing that is very sad for me, is that I am happy that he did not embarrass himself or the US while in Japan.

Why would he? Abe was never antagonistic towards the President, so he wouldn’t say anything embarrassing.

I was waiting for him to do or say something stupid, and luckily he seemed to pull it off.

I knew he wasn’t, they both like each other and have a pretty good relationship, so the chances of that happening were pretty much very low.

But man oh man that is a low bar when you are happy the president of the US didn't make himself look like a complete fool.

Now if Abe had acted like a fool then....
