Good for him.

Agreed, oldman_13. He's doing what other Japanese politicians should be doing.

If they would get up of their rear ends and go out and build relations with neighbouring countries there wouldn't be any need to change the constitution, spend huge amounts on arms or build huge new bases in Okinawa.

Good on him.

Inoki was a disciple of Rikidozan. (Rikidozan had a daughter living in North Korea) That's one of the reasons why Inoki visits North Korea more often than other Japanese politicians.

So all that "hot water" he was in last year for going to NK was for nothing and the event was held without any issues?

That is no "diplomacy", that is a disgrace. Why is Inoki playing useful for the Kim regime and accepting its blood money? Shame on him, shame on the media that play along.

For change, a Japanese politiciian had warm comment in CNN on Saturday, Inoki and his wrestling news.

Japan should carefully and maybe just slightly reduce its military ties with USA, improve its economic and political ties with Russians and try to get a joint use and control of the four disputed island with guaranties that only Japan and Russia have access and use of them. Giving them outright to Japan will never happen, that would be like giving them to USA but friendly joint use could be achieved. But Japan would have to abstain form blindly following the USA and their effort to take over Russia.

Hope Inoki can work for Japanese who were abducted to N Korea years ago. Today's CNN news showing 3 Americans who have been held in N. Korea that N Korea allowed to speak up for CNN. Since S Korea hates Japan, together with China, Jaoan's position change against n Korea is not bad right now, Is there any Japanese politicians who can communicate with N Korea? USA media is not mean to N Korea recently.
